Wyoming’s archery whitetail season opens on September 1 which provides us with amazing opportunities to hunt these deer while they are still on their summer feed patterns. Most archery hunts happen over food or water sources from ground blinds and it’s not uncommon to see 100+ whitetails per day, with several shooter bucks in the group. We also utilize treestands where appropriate. Wyoming allows the use of either compound or crossbow so there are ample hunting opportunities regardless of weapon choice.
