This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking.
We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, full shower/sauna, and WIFI!
Our antelope hunts are conducted in the month of October on our private leases. The antelope herds are healthy and growing. Trophy bucks in our area average 13-14″ with 15″ a possibility. Antelope hunts are done in the traditional spot and stalk. This hunt is great for kids and families as there is usually lots of action, spotting, stalking, and shooting.
Come and enjoy a great hunt, view mule deer, whitetail, and elk. Antelope can also be added to our elk hunts we offer in November. Antelope licenses in the state of Montana are on a draw basis; the deadline to apply is June 1.

Our fresh water impoundments have the two ingredients essential for great puddle duck hunting- shallow water and a variety of natural foods.These impoundments provide ducks with high quality natural foods-wild rice, duck weed, smart weed and duck celery. These impoundments are 60-100 acres which means there is plenty of food throughout the gunning season. We also plant some wild rice each spring. These large impoundments are also big enough for birds to loaf on all day long without being disturbed. Also our impoundments are far apart which means we are hunting different bunches of birds to help keep our hunting consistently good.
We like to use hand -carved cork decoys along with GHG decoys because of their realism and larger size. Most of the birds we are hunting travel in small bunches so 2-3 dozen decoys is plenty along with a few mojos when conditions dictate.
We take a large variety of puddle ducks over the course of the season on these large impoundments. In the early season, (Oct -Nov) we mainly take smaller ducks- blue-wing teal, green-wing teal, wood ducks and mallards. In the late season, (Nov-Dec) we take a larger ducks and variety- a few straggler teal and wood ducks but mainly mallards and gadwall and some days pintail, widgeon and shovelers. We also take some Canada geese when conditions are right.

Not only will coyote hunting get your adrenaline going as they quickly come running into the call, but it also helps the local deer, hog, and turkey populations. We have access to thousands of acres right here in south Florida to try to slow down the coyote problem which is taking over much of the united states.
Coyote hunts are typically very fast-paced, 90% of the time we will see the dogs running in within 10 minutes of turning on the call. Coyotes can be hunted year around in all four states and they can be hunted in combination with other species which may be in season. Our rocky mountain elk hunts are featured in the heart of Arizona. Hunters need to be prepared to endure all possible weather conditions. It is important that clients be in good physical hiking condition to endure the Arizona terrain and to gain that edge to connect with your trophy bull.
We also offer cow elk hunts. Even though they have no antlers, the Rocky Mountain Cow Elk, are a blast to hunt! Some like to call them "Meat Hunts". A huge mature cow can weigh as much as 500 pounds. These cow hunts can be as challenging as any other hunt, but your odds are higher. The recommended rifle calibers for cow elk are the .270 win. & .300 win. magnum with a good variable power scope. Expect shots out 500 plus yards.

Our 12,000 contiguous acres of Tombigbee River bottom and mixed pine/hardwood stands are managed exclusively for wild turkey. At Big Horn Outfitters, we offer fully guided archery and rifle elk hunts in Wyoming hunt areas 34, 35, 36, and 45. All of these areas are in our Special Use Outfitting permit on the Big Horn National Forest and take place from wall tents.
We also offer guided private land elk hunts as well, which take place from our fully renovated lodge and cabins just outside of Buffalo. Whether you prefer a low-elevation, private land hunt or a mountain hunt in the beautiful Wyoming wilderness, Big Horn Outfitters has a hunt for you. Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shotguns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shotgun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done.
DATES: This is a year-round hunt for coyotes, but grey fox and bobcat are from roughly Sep 1 - Mar 31.

Guided Alaska brown bear hunting is awesome. The Alaskan Brown Bear is the most coveted trophy on the North American continent. Sportsmen from around the world come to Alaska to hunt the biggest and most powerful of all bears, the Alaskan Brown bear. When you see these bears walk across the Alaskan tundra you cannot help but be in awe. Just seeing them will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Hunting them provides great excitement and a trip you will never forget.
The brown bear season starts in August. I conduct hunts through the end of September in southwestern Alaska. I specialize in hunting the big brown bears. These bears are big, powerful and must be respected. My hunting area boasts a high brown bear population density. If you have ever wanted to take a brown bear, come hunting with me.
I hunt out of spike camps. This puts us close to where the action is. We will be camped where preseason scouting has indicated bear activity and where I believe we can hunt effectively. We will do all of our hunting on these hunts in hunting boots, not waders, and do a lot of glassing hillsides, mountains, and drainages.
Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.
When researching a hunt, you should ask to speak with ALL of the clients who hunted the same time you are considering hunting the previous year. It is foolish to consider booking a hunt with an outfitter before you speak with hunters who have hunted the same time and place during the previous season. It is important to know ahead of time what you are getting for your money. I am proud of the attention I give each client before, during, and after the hunt. Most importantly, DON'T CONSIDER BOOKING A HUNT WITH ANYONE THAT IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOU PHONE NUMBERS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESSES OF ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
The state regulations require salvaging the head and hide only on brown bears. I encourage hunters to take home the meat of brown bears in the "ethics" mind set. I am picking up the tab to ship the meat back to Anchorage because I like to see hunters make some use out of the meat. It is not required, but I encourage it.
Other species can be added to your hunt on a trophy fee basis. These options are available only if the season is open for the species according to the Alaska State Regulations.

The Axis deer was introduced to Maui in the late 1950s. The Axis deer quickly multiplied since no natural predators existed on the island to manage the population. Axis deer are estimated to exceed 50,000 in total on Maui. The population is so large that island residents have difficulty protecting the island's natural and precious ecosystems. Hunting Axis deer is a sustainable practice that helps conserve the beauty and abundance of Maui's plants and other wildlife.
All deer hunts can last up to 2 days. The hunt will end when (1) the hunter reaches the quota of deer as allotted by the selected plan, or (2) the hunt exceeds 2 days. An extra day of hunting for all hunt packages will be an additional charge. Extra hunting days will include all regular services.

Turkey hunts target male turkeys during the spring season from late April to late May, respectively. Hunts scheduled in Connecticut can be half or full day hunts, while Rhode Island and Massachusetts hunts are limited to half-day morning hunts per state regulations.

Washington is a bear hunter's paradise, the bear population has been estimated as high as 30,000, the highest in the lower 48 states, and you can buy two tags over the counter. About 50% of the bear are off-color bear, so you can hunt for two different color bear on the same hunt. When you arrive be prepared to board a large swamp buggy, capable of tackling all of Florida’s marshes and thick terrain! The buggy’s tall platform deck will have you elevated to view vast areas surrounding you, and shooting towers will keep you secure and give you a rest whether you are stopped to shoot or running and gunning. For closer encounters, after locating your hog, you will be on foot with your guide beside you.
You will enter 2,600 acres, where while hunting for hogs you will get to also see all of the exotic and native game offered at Fox Brown Outfitters. Experienced dogs will be used to wind off of the buggy until they alert that they have picked up a scent. Your guide will release the dogs who will locate and bay the hog….. This is where your high-paced adventure begins, so get ready! At this point in the hunt you will have your choice as to how you’d like to take your hog. Possibilities include but are not limited to: shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, spear, or knife.
Your guide will be with you the entire time to ensure your safety, and the safety of the dogs. No two hunts are the same, you may get a close shot or a long distance running shot. There are no hog pens or hogs released from traps, this is authentic hunting and can go quickly, or can take all day. Douglas county has produced some of the largest Columbia Blacktail taken anywhere in the world. This area is known for having exceptional buck quality. We have over 10,000 acres of the best ranches Douglas County has to offer. We are local residents and manage these properties year-round and our experience ensures you have a positive hunting experience.
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house.” The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub.
Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete.
The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack.
Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards. That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of most rewarding and most beautiful trophies. Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. The hunting technique for Coues deer involves choosing a good vantage point and spending hours glassing through high-powered binoculars and spotting scopes.
The Coues bucks may be spotted over a mile away. Once a trophy Coues buck is located, the spot and stalk method is used to get within shooting range. The canyons where Coues deer live are usually big and open. Rifle hunters should be prepared for shooting distances from 200 yards to 500 yards, if the need arises. Bow hunters typically take shots at ranges from 30 to 60 yards, since it is really open terrain. Because of the topography, high-powered riflescopes on top of lightweight flat-shooting rifles with a bipod are a "must have." Recommended rifle calibers are the .25-06 up to .300 Magnums. We do not recommend smaller calibers. Rifle season hunts are conducted during three timeframes, which are: late October, early November, and late December. Our Archery Coues hunts are conducted during the month of January when they are in full rut.

Are you searching for a mountain quail hunting guide to complete your upland slam? If we had to choose one upland bird to hunt the rest of our life, it would have to be the mountain quail. If it wasn’t for the beautiful landscapes they call home, they win the award for craftiness and excellent table fare. As the name implies, these are the birds of the mountains. The mountain quail loves brush choked hillsides next to water. It’s common to find mountain quail in the vicinity of sooty grouse, ruffed grouse, band-tailed pigeon, and squirrel, depending on the part of the state. We often find valley quail in the same spots as mountain quail in lower elevation locations, especially late in the season.
Folks often call amidst the season and ask if “now is a good time to hunt mountain quail?” The answer is always yes. While some years have better hatches than others – there isn’t the annual fluctuations in quail numbers like you might find in desert quail species. Mountain quail hunting in the early season is very different from the late season; however, no part of the season is better or worse. The early season the quail are more spread out across the mountains but never far from water. In the late season the snow pushes quail lower which concentrates the birds along lower elevation brushy south facing exposures. The season starts early, runs late, and bag limits are generous. There is no place better than California to chase mountain quail.

Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas.
A western archery mule deer hunt during the peak of the rut is a bow hunter's dream. When the mule deer come into rut, generally in mid December and January in the lower elevations, it's exciting to hunt them with your bow because their sense of awareness is only concentrated on their doe. Either in the high country forest or the high/low desert terrain your shots will range from 40 out to 70 yards. With precision and accuracy, you will have a higher chance of a successful harvest. The little-known band-tailed pigeon is nothing like the feral pigeons at the local feed store. For a short window during autumn band-tailed pigeons can be seen in large flocks along mountain ridge tops in Northern California before they fly south further. Few hunters target the band-tailed because the opener coincides with the opener of general deer and bear season. For that reason, most band-tailed pigeon harvest is incidental to a deer or bear hunt.
For those interested in some fast shooting this is the hunt for you. The season only lasts for one week but during that week you can find excellent shooting where tall roost trees are growing near prominent ridges.

This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or difficulty walking.
We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. In the eastern part of the San Luis Valley, located in GMU 82, The Great Sand Dunes National Preserve offers 32,000 acres of over-crowed elk also known as the “sand dunes herd”. On this hunt, you will be packing in horseback and staying in a tent with wood stove. Hunting packages are available for archery and rifle. Hunts are fully guided for 5 days, but plan on arriving a day or two early to get into the base camp and staying a day later if wanting to hunt the full 5 days. Our guided pack-in sand dune hunts will take place in prime country for trophy bull elk. Elevation ranges between 8,500-12,000 feet in the sand dunes. These areas typically contain aspen groves and deep drainages. Our pack-in camps reside in several different locations . Pronghorn are found through the state but the quality of these bucks are located in the northern & eastern part of the state. Our most productive method of hunting these unique animals is Spot and Stock. On this particular hunt we spend a great deal of time glassing, trying to locate the buck of your choice.
The key to harvesting a quality buck on these hunts is the preseason scouting with the addition and the ability to accurately field judge these bucks correctly. We hunt the open country, cedar flats, and the tall pines of northern & eastern Arizona, so long distance shooting is a must. It is not uncommon to take rifle shots over 400 yards on a antelope. We recommend a flat shooting rifle cartridge, a good high-power rifle scope and a mounted bi-pod, or a tall standing tripod. The spot and stalk hunting methods are mainly used for our rifle and muzzleloader hunts.

The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest.
These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience.
Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

Hunt Southern Oregon for Rio Grande Turkey on the best ranches Douglas County has to offer. We manage over 25,000 acres to ensure your success. Spring turkey hunts take place from April 15th to May 31st. We almost always fill with our repeat guests, so book your hunts early. Hunts are all-inclusive and include lodging and dinner the night before your hunt, guiding, and turkey care. Not included are your license and tag, and transportation to Eugene or Roseburg.
Fin’s and Feather’s Guide Service is going on its 15th season guiding Rio Grande Turkey’s on some of the best ranches in Douglas County. In fact, Bob Toman, a Fin’s and Feather’s Guest, harvested the number one Rio Grande Turkey in the State of Oregon in 2003. Our turkey hunts include meals, lodging, and field dressing. Each afternoon your guide will roost a flock of birds. The following morning you will arrive at the roost for a prime chance at your turkey. Should this hunt be unsuccessful you will spend the remainder of the day setting up and calling. You will not be asked to sit in a blind all morning or afternoon unless requested. Your guides are very accommodating and will strive to make your time with us a very memorable one. If you have any requests just ask and it shall be done.
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring, the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is, the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub.
Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority of the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunchtime because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete.
The house has two family rooms, one with the television and the other with a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. All Mt. Goat hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success, with many cases, a packer is added for those extended missions. Depending on where you are hunting Mt. Goat in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Mt. Goat spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Mt. Goat country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to 1000 mountain ridges along the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. With the use of our small aircraft, we are able to access areas where mountain goats have never seen a human before and can normally find a hunting area to fit your physical needs.
(Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska.) With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska, many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billies 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billies in our area, normally Billies weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have “Buffalo Billies” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.
With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times it’s a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. Depending on where you are hunting in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort.
Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peeled, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elder or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, the hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage at the end of the season.

These hunts are conducted primarily by snowmobile in GMU’s 13 and 20. I run three different traplines encompassing over three hundred miles. If the hunter would like an opportunity to harvest a Lynx or Wolverine they will have to come join me in the dead of the Alaskan winter (December – February). I won’t promise warm weather but I will guarantee you some of the most scenic snowmobiling on earth and lots of it!
Wolf hunting alaska style is always rewarding. We will do some calling for predators as well as setting traps and snares in locales that are likely spots to produce results. Typically we will snowmobile between 50-150 miles a day in search of Wolves, Wolverine, Lynx, Coyote and Fox. These are among the most rugged Montana elk hunts, and we often describe them as “extreme” hunts. Our hunts are guided in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Swan Valley areas of Montana off of horseback. Hunt fees include equipped camps, guide services, transportation in the field, meals, and field preparation of trophies. Fees do not include your license, big game tags, transportation round trip to Rainy Pass Lodge (at this time $1200 per person & subject to change), hotel accommodations, before, during, or after the hunt, or gratuities. Weather permitting you will be flown to the lodge the day before your hunt and you will leave the lodge the day after your hunt.
We welcome your non-hunting guests along to photograph, video, or just tag along to share in your hunt. We do have limited accommodations for this and it must be arranged ahead of time. The cost for a non-hunting guest is $8,500.
Rainy Pass Lodge is your well-appointed, yet rustic-luxury hunting lodge in the heart of the Alaska Range. Below are a few highlights to help you fully understand what Rainy Pass Lodge has to offer. We hunt right out of the main lodge as well as out of more remote log cabins scattered throughout hundreds of miles of untamed wilderness.
We feature fair chase hunting opportunities for multiple species. The land is so vast and untouched that there are animals here that have never seen a human before – this is the ultimate in fair chase old-world hunting. Our primary method of hunting is spot and stalk which is very successful for the type of terrain and animal habits in our area. We typically use ‘look-out’ spots to locate the game, sometimes as far away as 5-6 miles, and having horses truly makes those animals attainable. Although we usually do not have to go that far, it’s nice to have options.
We have roughly 80% repeat and referral clientele and have had the pleasure of hunting with multiple generations on many occasions. We aim to provide you with a true hunting adventure that will become a tradition as you pass down your hunting heritage to your kids and grandchildren. We like to train our guides in-house rather than hiring from an outside pool of unemployed guides as many outfitters do. This insures that we provide you with properly trained guides to meet the service standards we demand. As well as having guides that are familiar with the area, camps, horses and animals. The 2 day hunt includes 1 buck with a main beam length under 27" and one doe. For a buck with a main beam length over 27" a $1000 trophy fee applies.
Axis deer are found on the Island of Molokai. They are completely free range and they are incredibly wary animals that spook easily. Our mainland hunters tell us they're like whitetail deer on crack. They can be hunted with archery equipment out of a tree stand or spot and stalk with a rifle.
Overnight hunts are based out of a cabin at 6,000 feet elevation on Mauna Loa Volcano. It's in a prime location in the middle of some of the best hunting country on the Big Island. Mouflon, Black Hawaiian Sheep, Vancouver Bulls, Turkey Upland Game Birds and Boar can all be hunted from the door step of the cabin.
