Snipe Hunting is just a practical joke, right? Well, not quite… at Fox Brown Outfitters Snipe Hunting actually exists. Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe. Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. But don’t be fooled, it will be hard to tag out, these little birds fly fast, and as soon as you think you’ve got a shot, they dive, dip, and bolt the opposite direction! This hunt is for the sportsman looking for a challenge! This hunt includes lunch and the cleaning and packaging of your snipe. Shotguns may be rented and extra shells are available at an additional cost.
