We will employ various calling methods, including yelping, clucking, purring, cackling, and more, to attract the birds. If you have experience with calling, you're welcome to call in your own bird. The key to a successful turkey hunt is thorough scouting and a good understanding of the terrain. Our experienced guides know where the birds are roosting and their likely travel routes throughout the day. Prior to your arrival, we will spend a few days preparing and scouting for your Merriam turkey hunt, ensuring we set up close to the roost. We provide lodging and meals as part of our package.
