Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas. A western archery mule deer hunt during the peak of the rut is a bow hunter's dream. When the mule deer come into rut, generally in mid December and January in the lower elevations, it's exciting to hunt them with your bow because their sense of awareness is only concentrated on their doe. Either in the high country forest or the high/low desert terrain your shots will range from 40 out to 70 yards. With precision and accuracy, you will have a higher chance of a successful harvest. If you are ready for a challenge this trip is for you. The OTC tags & licenses for our Arizona mule deer trips are purchased over the counter and do not need to be drawn. 6-day hunt.

Pronghorn are found through the state but the quality of these bucks are located in the northern & eastern part of the state. Our most productive method of hunting these unique animals is Spot and Stock. On this particular hunt we spend a great deal of time glassing, trying to locate the buck of your choice. The key to harvesting a quality buck on these hunts is the preseason scouting with the addition and the ability to accurately field judge these bucks correctly. We hunt the open country, cedar flats, and the tall pines of northern & eastern Arizona, so long distance shooting is a must. It is not uncommon to take rifle shots over 400 yards on a antelope. We recommend a flat shooting rifle cartridge, a good high-power rifle scope and a mounted bi-pod, or a tall standing tripod. The spot and stalk hunting methods are mainly used for our rifle and muzzleloader hunts. 6-day hunt

Our exclusive guided predator hunts are offered on a daily rate basis or in multiple days. On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona. When you see the eyes shining and hear the howling in the distance be prepared for some adrenaline flowing, heart pounding, and some quick shooting when the yotes come charging in! Whether you are a seasoned veteran, or looking for your first Predator Night Hunt we can cater a hunt to meet your needs. We offer custom guided night hunts from after sunset for 4.5 hours. Or you have the option of a half day/half night hunt at an additional price. Our night hunts are conducted from December through the end of May. For our clients that don't have Kill lights for their rifles or shot guns we have you covered at no additional charge! Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime-time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. Guiding the veteran predator hunter or instructing the beginner hunter is our passion. It is also a proven wildlife management tool for controlling the predator population in our prime hunting areas. We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shot guns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shot gun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done. DATES: This hunt is available from December through the end of May. SUCCESS: Our Arizona Guided Predator Day/Night trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shot opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these critters is by utilizing an electronic caller and using custom made hand calls with an emphasis on using an electronic caller. BAG: Unlimited bag limit.

The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain. Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. You will mostly see them up in the mornings sunbathing and during the days bedded up in the shadows. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800+ yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long range practice before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting stick in different positions—you never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready. 6-day hunt

This hunt is exciting for us as guides to find those bulls finishing up the rut. It is our chance to get within rifle distance of those bulls. Your guide will also utilize calling, spot and stalking, and setting up at strategic ambush sites. If a huge bull is your goal, then this trip will provide you with the opportunity to reach or exceed that goal. Our late season hunt is slower paced than the early season hunt. We will spend time glassing up bulls and then making that stalk of a lifetime. We have done our homework and know just where these bulls go after the mating season has taken its toll on them. As these solitary bulls regain their mass after the rut season, it is not uncommon to find more than one bull though. Making this a hunt that will give you the hunter an opportunity to pick your bull. Expect shots out to 800 yards. Our early & late rifle season Arizona bull elk trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shooting opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these bulls is by glassing and stalking with an emphasis on glassing.

Arizona offers extraordinary trophy color phase bear hunting with many record book boars harvested every year in the southwest. We primarily hunt in late summer to early fall August - November. During this time bears are very active during the day time and spend majority of their day exploring for food. Bears come in many unique color phases, black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde. On our hunt expect to do a great deal of glassing, walking, and hiking on spot n stalk or behind hounds, so you must be in good physical shape. These hunts offer a lot of excitement and has a very high success rate. We use three main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method, the calling method, and classic behind hounds pursuit. As our primary hunting technique, we trail behind hounds. Our second technique is spot-n-stalk, we hike to a good glassing point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. Once a mature bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Expect to take rifle shots across big canyons, so a bi-pod or tall standing shooting tripod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is highly recommended. Rifle shots on spot n stalk average 500+ yards, but be prepared for any distance (longer or shorter) if the need arrises. If you are a bowhunter, this Arizona spot and stalk bear hunt is the ultimate challenge. Rifle or hand gun shots behind hounds is 20 out to 50 yard shot placement. As a proven third technique, we use electronic predator call and utilize hand calling. Sometimes black bears prefer to stay in the thick oak brush, dense pinon pines, tall manzantia, prickly pear slopes, and juniper thickets where they eat acorns, pinon nuts, berries, cactus fruit, or juniper berries. These areas have thicker vegetation and allow for limited glassing. If this is where the bears are located at the time of your hunt, we may use limited glassing and use a predator call. This technique is an exciting way to pull a bear out of the brush and within shooting distance. The OTC tags and licenses for our trophy Arizona black bear hunts are purchased online and do not need to be drawn.

We conduct our mountain lions trips from November through April in the heart of Arizona and we can adapt to whatever diverse conditions we will encounter during your mountain lion trip. Our hunts can be conducted in several different methods including calling them with an electronic predator call, trailing them in the snow, but our preferred method is by pursuing behind our pack of lion hounds on foot on dry ground conditions. Whether we are going to be calling or dry ground hunting on foot, our most proven method of hunting these magnificent and elusive western predators is on foot with our pack of hounds. Our houndsman guides that will be taking you out on our lion trip are some of the very best fourth generation lion hunters in the state and will do everything humanly & legally possible to tree your tom and give you an extremely unforgettable first class hunting experience of a life time. Our team of predator hunting houndsmen have over two decades of pounding the high & low country, calling, trailing, and treeing lions under the very brutal country in Arizona has to offer. The typical day on our Arizona mountain lion hunts will begin before sunrise, depending on the particular area of rim country or the other units that we have located a fresh track or recent kill from a tom mountain lion. Some of the rim country where we conduct our mountain lion hunts has excellent road systems that we will utilize to cover vast amounts of country with trucks & UTVs in search of fresh tracks of mountain lions. If we are going to be lion hunting in a large expanse of rough and roadless country, we will then free cast the pack of hounds while following them on foot as the pack searches for the fresh track of a legal mountain lion. Once a large tom mountain lion track is located either by us or by the hounds, the memories begin. Once the pack of hounds has jumped the cat, you never know exactly where that particular lion will decide to tree or bay up on rocks, once our hounds have finally caught up to the lion. The pursuit will make the lion either choose to climb up into the branches of a tall ponderosa pine tree, cedar, juniper, or climb up on top of a giant rock mound, hide in the deep rim rock cave, or even fight the dogs on the ground. Expect to take shots anywhere from 40 yards to point blank on a bayed lion, so clients need to be ready to possibly do some quick shooting in a very adrenaline filled moment. It is important that clients be in good physical hiking condition to endure the Arizona terrain and to gain that edge to connect with your trophy bull. The average bull scores 300+ inches up to 400 inches depending on time frame of the season and unit. We only hunt for big mature bulls with the great possibility of harvesting a Pope and Young in the respected trophy units in Arizona. You will be given the same professional service no matter what the time frame is or the unit you will be hunting in. We offer two types of rifle trips, for those who are lucky enough to draw an early season rifle tag. The early tag hunt will find you setting up on post rut bulls. As these solitary bulls regain their mass after the rut season, it is not uncommon to find more than one bull though, making this a hunt that will give you the hunter an opportunity to pick your bull. Expect shots out to 800 yards. Our early & late rifle season Arizona bull elk trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shooting opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these bulls is by glassing and stalking with an emphasis on glassing. This hunt includes guiding and field services such as daily transportation to hunting grounds, guide services, game retrieval, but doesn't include lodging or meals.

Coues Deer hunting is the ultimate challenge; however, an archery hunt during the late December & January rut would be a memorable experience for any hunter. By utilizing tree stands, natural blinds, calling and glassing methods; your guide will help you locate the "Elusive Grey Ghost". Once a buck is located the stalk is on for you to make your harvest. Archery shots typically range from 40 yards out to 70 yards range. Precision and accuracy will give you a higher chance for success on this trip, so practice is highly recommended.
