Turkey hunts target male turkeys during the spring season from late April to late May, respectively. Hunts scheduled in Connecticut can be half or full day hunts, while Rhode Island and Massachusetts hunts are limited to half-day morning hunts per state regulations. During the hunt, Justin and the client(s) will actively pursue gobblers. Hunters will learn what to look for and interpret how male birds are interacting with breeding hens and using the environment. The objectives for spring turkey hunts include: understanding turkey habits and behaviors; learning location and calling methods and adapting to situational changes. Contact Justin to learn more about talkin’ turkey!
