Our fresh water impoundments have the two ingredients essential for great puddle duck hunting- shallow water and a variety of natural foods.These impoundments provide ducks with high quality natural foods-wild rice, duck weed, smart weed and duck celery. These impoundments are 60-100 acres which means there is plenty of food throughout the gunning season. We also plant some wild rice each spring. These large impoundments are also big enough for birds to loaf on all day long without being disturbed. Also our impoundments are far apart which means we are hunting different bunches of birds to help keep our hunting consistently good.
We like to use hand -carved cork decoys along with GHG decoys because of their realism and larger size. Most of the birds we are hunting travel in small bunches so 2-3 dozen decoys is plenty along with a few mojos when conditions dictate.
We take a large variety of puddle ducks over the course of the season on these large impoundments. In the early season, (Oct -Nov) we mainly take smaller ducks- blue-wing teal, green-wing teal, wood ducks and mallards. In the late season, (Nov-Dec) we take a larger ducks and variety- a few straggler teal and wood ducks but mainly mallards and gadwall and some days pintail, widgeon and shovelers. We also take some Canada geese when conditions are right.

Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey hosts some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem. Another bonus of hunting in New Jersey is the Canada Goose limits and seasons can be different from Delaware allowing more opportunities in the field.
We offer both Maryland and New Jersey Canada goose hunting during the September season.Both states can offer great hunting when conditions are right. Now that we are hunting two states it increases our chances to consistently put our clients on birds.Our two hunting areas in these two states are only an hour apart, we can easily scout both areas on a daily basis.Most of these resident birds are very vulnerable to good calling and decoys particuarly the juveniles.
We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylands’ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields – a favorite of Canada geese.These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season.
Kevin Popo Guide Service also provides large spreads of today’s top-quality decoys. We use both Big Foot and Real Geese decoys to provide you with the best opportunity of harvesting Canada geese. Depending on the weather and field conditions, these realistic decoys can mean the difference betwwen a good or slow day especially on late season geese. All of our decoys are well maintained and new decoys are bought on an annual basis.
Both our New Jersey Canada goose hunting and Maryland Canada goose hunting is done from large, spacious and well-maintained pits. Our pits are all 16-20 ft long and 6 ft wide to ensure you stay dry and comfortable no matter how bad the weather. Duck hunting in Colorado can be nothing short of amazing. Our placement against the Front Range Mountains of Northern Colorado forces migrating ducks to push against the mountains when the temperatures freeze them out of eastern Colorado and points north. Typically duck hunts begin to get worthwhile in late November.
We get common puddle duck species like mallards, wigeon, teal, and gadwall, as well as other species like spoonbill, goldeneyes, canvasbacks, redheads, ringnecks, and three species of merganser. Your guided DUCK ONLY hunt will start at legal shooting light and end at noon. Duck only hunts are ½ day hunts. If a duck hunt is paired with a goose hunt as a COMBO OPTION, the hunt will last until the limit is reached, or legal shooting light expires. We are one of the few guide services along the Front Range that offer this service, and availability is limited.

Southern New Jersey holds upwards of 150,000 snow geese during the fall and spring. Most of these birds are in Salem and Cumberland county. Generally the birds show up in late October and leave in mid-March. New jersey snow goose hunting presents two unique challenges. First,these birds sometimes will fly over to Delaware to feed for the day. Another second factor to contend with here in New Jersey are the huge tidal marshes where the birds roost. Generally the birds will not leave the marsh preferring to stay and feed on the salt hay fields that are so numerous in New Jersey tidal marshes. But once the weather turns cold that is when the birds head inland from 2- 20 miles to find higher protein food like corn, soybean or wheat.
We have farms in both Salem and Cumberland county. All or our farms are inland anywhere from 2 -12 miles from the roost areas for these birds. As mentioned above, our best hunting is the first cold snap when the birds head inland for high protein food. Snow geese prefer large farms and our farms vary in size from 60-415 acres. We have leased these farms for over ten years so we have a good idea of when they will use them. And of course we scout daily and have area farmers looking for us also.
Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly silosocks and some full bodies. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 500-1500 decoys are needed for those same results.
Generally our best hunting is when it gets cold and the birds head to the fields to feed. Another good time for us is February- March season for a couple reasons.
The conservation season begins and the e-callers really help decoys birds especially the small bunches and it also helps tremendously on traffic hunts.
Tens of thousands of snow geese move into our area this time of the season. They are starting to stage to head north and gradually move north along the tidal marshes as they stage. And lastly, like all waterfowl, windy days really produce especially when using Silosocks.
Remember we are hunting snow geese that are about as predictable as the weather. These are very skittish and finicky birds that have no real agenda when it comes to decoying. The rule with snow geese are there are no rules. Let the fun begin!

Located on the famed Cache River in Northeast Arkansas, CACHE RIVER MALLARD FARMS consist of nearly 5,000 acres of rice fields managed for premier duck hunting. Since we are farmers, we can control the flooding of our property. This allows us to utilize rain water, but never depend on it as many outfitters do.
Your experience on our property will be heightened by WOODY’S GUIDED HUNTS who will take you each morning before daylight, using ATV’s, and put you in one of our many pit blinds. Our guides are very experienced and professional. They will host as well as call and retrieve your birds while passing along their secrets of rice field hunting in Northeast Arkansas. We raise hundreds of "buddy ducks" in our sanctuary every year to mix with our local population. Members have full access to lodge 24/7, and the ability to Dove Hunt on our sunflower field. Our waterfowl area consists of blind locations on the creeks, fields, and ponds. 2025 waterfowl membership $3,300 which includes 2 guest fees during the season. If members want a guide, book no later than 3pm the day prior by texting Ford Downes. The guide drives you to the blind, lays out the decoys and calls them in for you. It's traditional for each hunter to tip the guide $20 after a good day of shooting. A deposit of $500 holds your deer or duck member spot with the remaining balance due no later than Feb 1st. If you join both clubs the annual club fee is $6000 with a onetime first year join fee of $1500.

Our group offers the finest wild duck and goose hunting available in this area. Our ponds are designed and built for waterfowl hunting. We typically have good populations of mallards, gadwall, teal, and wood ducks that frequent our hunting areas.
In the regular waterfowl season, we only offer 2 day duck hunts and only have one 2 day hunt per week to limit hunting pressure. We can accommodate up to 10 hunters and require a minimum of 4 to book a hunt. Our fresh water impoundments have the two ingredients essential for great puddle duck hunting- shallow water and a variety of natural foods.These impoundments provide ducks with high quality natural foods-wild rice, duck weed, smart weed and duck celery. These impoundments are 60-100 acres which means there is plenty of food throughout the gunning season. We also plant some wild rice each spring. These large impoundments are also big enough for birds to loaf on all day long without being disturbed. Also our impoundments are far apart which means we are hunting different bunches of birds to help keep our hunting consistently good.
We like to use hand -carved cork decoys along with GHG decoys because of their realism and larger size. Most of the birds we are hunting travel in small bunches so 2-3 dozen decoys is plenty along with a few mojos when conditions dictate.
We take a large variety of puddle ducks over the course of the season on these large impoundments. In the early season, (Oct -Nov) we mainly take smaller ducks- blue-wing teal, green-wing teal, wood ducks and mallards. In the late season, (Nov-Dec) we take a larger ducks and variety- a few straggler teal and wood ducks but mainly mallards and gadwall and some days pintail, widgeon and shovelers. We also take some Canada geese when conditions are right.

I have decided that because of the better inshore limits, plentiful offshore structure, and the eastern sea duck migration, that it is a worthy cause to run trips on the Georgia coastline. Not to mention the boat access to historic downtown Savannah.
Fishing and chasing ducks is an honest trade that often times humbles the hearts men. So, I have set my sails to teach others the little hunting and fishing knowledge I have as a service for any that would ask me to take them out.

The goose hunting done over dry land, typically in the afternoon but in the morning at times. Hunting is in layout blinds, skid blinds or ditches. The timing for a flooded timber hunt can be a little tricky, depending on water conditions, so contact us for more details about planning a hunt. Duck hunting in flooded timber is so exciting because there is nothing like watching a flock of distant ducks respond to an expert caller but flooded timber hunts offer a different type of excitement. As a pair wood ducks or mallards appear and start circling close, you suddenly see them multiply - it can feel like being surrounded by a swarm of bees. Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey and Delaware host some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem.
We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylands’ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields – a favorite of Canada geese.These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season.

Centrally located between the huge tidal marshes of southern New Jersey and endless cornfields of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Delaware winters close to 500,000 snow geese annually. Delaware is home to two major snow geese roosts- the 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Kent County) and the 9,900 acre Prime Hook Nationals Wildlife refuge. (Sussex County) Combined these refuges host over 400,000 snow geese each fall. Both refuges provide large fresh water impoundments and tidal marshes for snow geese.
We currently lease over 30 farms in Kent and Sussex county. We have farms covering a large area both close to and farther inland from the refuges. Since we have hunted these areas for over twenty years, we have leased only the best farms used by wintering snow geese.
Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly full bodies and some silo socks. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 1500 – 2000 decoys are needed for those same results.
Your guide will meet you at the hotel or at an assigned place at an assigned time. From the hotel you will follow your guide to the farm. Have your snacks, coffee, and refreshments ready for your morning hunt as we will not be stopping at a convenience store. Everyone will help in setting up the decoy spread. The guide calls all the shots. At the end of the hunt, everyone helps picking up the decoys.

The opportunity to harvest these birds starts in November and goes through to January, however, their migrations through New England differ significantly and vary annually depending on climate and weather. This, ultimately, results in optimal time intervals to hunt each species.

We think this is the most fun you can have with your pants on! Rain, snow, or sunshine we will have a great hunting option and that’s why these hunts are so productive! Our all inclusive 3 day combo hunt provides you with food, lodging and travel to/from the field. This hunt is action packed.
We provide you with coffee and doughnuts in the morning before escorting you to the field where you will be hunting ducks or geese. Your guides will have the decoy spread setup and waiting for you so all you have to do is jump in the blinds and shoot. Once your morning hunt is over we will pick you back up and take you to camp for brunch. After you change clothes and switch gear, we head out to spend the rest of the day upland hunting for Sharptail, Pheasants, and the occasional Hungarian Partridge. After an action packed day of wing shooting we head back to camp for cocktails and dinner. This is a fabulous way to experience all Montana has to offer!

Arkansas is known for its incredible duck hunting, and our area is no different. Our fully guided duck hunts take place in a combination of field pits and flooded timber areas. We have six different field pits and two highly luxurious blinds tucked in our flooded timber areas. We keep all of our hunting spots on a strict rotation cycle in order to offer our hunters a variety of experiences while also ensuring that our areas, and the birds, can rest and remain pressured as little as possible. Our field hunts are excellent, but our flooded timber hunts take the experience to a whole new level. Windy Hill boasts a huge, luxury blind in one of our flooded timber spots that can hold large groups of hunters, and even has a small "kitchen" for cooking breakfast.
Because we care so much about the quality of our areas and being sure not to over pressure them, this experience is typically a "grand finale" that we save for the last day - and you can take our word for it, it's worth the wait. If you are looking for an Arkansas duck hunting outfitter that can provide the true flooded timber duck hunting experience, you have come to the right place! All hunting days at Windy Hill kick-off with the smell of the coffee pot and fresh biscuits. After breakfast, you and your guides will head to your hunting location for that day, where you will hunt until noon. A hot, delicious lunch will be waiting for you back at our comfortable duck hunting lodge where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing in our comfortable recliners, taking a nap in your bunk, or playing corn hole and darts in the "Duck Cave"--our brand new hangout spot at the lodge.
Evenings will consist of home-style country dinners followed by the telling of hunting stories around a warm fire or more games and relaxation in the Duck Cave. Centrally located between the huge tidal marshes of southern New Jersey and endless cornfields of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Delaware winters close to 500,000 snow geese annually. Delaware is home to two major snow geese roosts- the 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Kent County) and the 9,900 acre Prime Hook Nationals Wildlife refuge. (Sussex County) Combined these refuges host over 400,000 snow geese each fall. Both refuges provide large fresh water impoundments and tidal marshes for snow geese.
We currently lease over 30 farms in Kent and Sussex county. We have farms covering a large area both close to and farther inland from the refuges. Since we have hunted these areas for over twenty years, we have leased only the best farms used by wintering snow geese.
Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly full bodies and some silo socks. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 1500 – 2000 decoys are needed for those same results.
Your guide will meet you at the hotel or at an assigned place at an assigned time. From the hotel you will follow your guide to the farm. Have your snacks, coffee, and refreshments ready for your morning hunt as we will not be stopping at a convenience store. Everyone will help in setting up the decoy spread. The guide calls all the shots. At the end of the hunt, everyone helps picking up the decoys.

We offer 3 scheduled Quail and Duck Combination Hunts per hunting season. Normally we do the first scheduled quail and duck combination hunt on the second Saturday in December. The second and third quail and duck combination hunts are normally scheduled for early and late January. If you get lucky enough to get a spot on one of these quail and duck combination hunts you will be in for a treat if you like wing shooting. Years of waterfowl management normally produce an abundance of birds. Most hunters limit out on wood ducks while picking up some additional ducks and geese in certain areas. This quail and duck combination hunt includes lodging and supper the night before the scheduled combination hunt. The hunting guides will meet with the guest and confirm what time to meet in the main lodge for coffee and a continental breakfast.
