Bearpaw Outfitters offer guided and unguided coyote hunts and coyote hunting information for numerous areas in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington. Coyotes can be hunted year around in all four states and they can be hunted in combination with other species which may be in season. Bearpaw Outfitters know the best hotspots for hunting Coyotes and they also lease thousands of acres of the best private ranches for their hunts. Any necessary licenses are sold over the counter, hunters of any age can buy licenses in Washington. Coyote Hunting is good most anytime of the year, but late spring, early summer, and mid-winter can be especially good. Shot opportunity on guided coyote hunts is usually 50% to 100%. Unguided hunts could range anywhere from 0% to 100%. Shooting distances can vary from 5 yards to 300 yards. Sight your rifle dead on at 200 yards.
Private Ranches: These properties range in size from 50 acres to 2500 acres and offer excellent hunting. These properties are perfect for hunters with the patience to sit and watch or call.
Mountain Hunts: Hunts are conducted in numerous proven mountain locations where there are good numbers of coyotes.

This year Craig and I decided to expand our usual hunting season and species. Fall and Spring Black Bear is definitely not something that either one of us has mastered. So as an introductory hunt we are offering it at a reduced price per day and kill fee. The kill fee does not change with the size of the bear.
In the Spring Black Bears here in Oregon spend a lot of time grazing the south-facing slopes, eating skunk cabbage, and other easily accessible food sources. The warmer weather in the spring tends to bring them out in a hurry, one day they arenβt there and the next they are. The spring hunt will be very dependent on the weather as are most hunts regardless of the species. More than 75% of the hunting will be conducted on public ground. Douglas and Coos County have high bear populations and the chances of you harvesting a nice mature bear are good. In the fall the hunting will be focused again around their easily accessible food sources such as salmonberries and blackberries.
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the βranch houseβ. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub.
Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craigβs mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebeeβs pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete.
The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. If you find pleasure in walking, the roadβs on the ranch will be sure to satisfy you.

To put it mildly β we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt itβs typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities.
We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours.
Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts:
Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and thatβs when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it wonβt be long before we will know if the plan worked out.
Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We donβt stop there. If everyone in the group hasnβt got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, thatβs a bird that wants to play.
Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt.
Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts:
Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesnβt work so well for big Tom turkeys because they arenβt in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives itβs all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method.
The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region β including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December.
Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

We are pleased to offer hunting trips in southern Arizona for the rare Gould's turkey. The Gould's turkey is primarily a mountain dwelling bird that inhabits the extreme southern portions of Arizona in higher altitude areas known as "Sky Islands" (forested mountaintops that rise above the vast sea of desert). The Gould's sub-species is geographically separated from the northern Arizona Merriam's by hundreds of square miles of surrounding desert. Therefore, the chance for hybridization is slim to none.
The Gould's is the largest of the turkey subspecies with longer legs, larger feet, and larger tail feathers and wings than all the other subspecies. They also have a higher level of iridescence to their feathers. But, the most notable difference from the other turkey subspecies is that the Gould's turkey typically has whiter tips on the rump and tail feathers (Merriam's have a cream-white). The Gould's turkeys that we hunt live in a natural habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders and typically no other human influence. Since Gould's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunting takes place in the Oak Woodlands to Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations of 6000 to 8000 feet.
This high altitude hunt area has breathtaking scenery with very enjoyable Springtime temperatures of around 80 degrees in the day and 45 degrees at night. In order to eliminate over-harvest, Arizona Gould's Turkey tags are on a special random lottery draw through the Arizona Game and Fish Department. If interested in booking a hunt with us, contact the outfitter on how to apply and which hunt numbers to use. Once a tag is drawn for our recommended area, we can then book the hunt.

We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow.
Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

Gator hunting, for many, is a misunderstood tradition. It's far from just trophies. It's about ensuring the health of Florida's environment and its inhabitantsβalso putting some incredible meat in the fridge. Alligators, once driven to the brink of extinction, have made a remarkable comeback. But to maintain this balance, population management like hunting is necessary.
Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. On private property we use rifles Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience. These are spot and stalk hunts.

All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof islandβs have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world.
The brown bear represents the spirit of Alaska, especially in Sitka. Strength & Untamed. This is the ultimate challenge for hunters looking for a True Fair chase hunt in Southeast Alaskaβs Tongass National Forest. Our Brown bear hunt is exclusive for two (2) hunters per 10 day trip. One on one β one guide per hunter, ensuring optimum success for each hunter. Individual hunter success for the last five years has been 85%-100%! Brown, Grizzlies and Kodiaks were once thought to be separate sub-species; however, it is generally agreed now that they are the same species. The Brown bear, so named because he lives within 50 miles of the sea and usually supplements his diet with salmon, is much larger than the inland grizzly. The Brown Bear is the largest land carnivore on earth, although there is some dispute over his cousin the Polar Bear, which spends the bulk of his life on ice flows. Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world.
In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is Southeast Alaska. Or if youβre lucky, go pull up a pot of Dungeness crab for lunch/dinner!
Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time, bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding.
During the Fall, the focus shifts to these stream-bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon. It is common to see as many as 25 bears on a fall hunt. Hunters and guides will still use skiffs to go from the boat to shore, but then they follow the stream upward to find an appropriate location to observe bears as they come and go. The fall gives a better opportunity for archery hunters due to the close proximity of the bear. How Close? Close enough to see the bearβs breath! Fall hunts are our favorite due to the amount of animal activity!
Fall hunts tend to be colder and wetter than the Spring hunt, so the right gear, especially rain gear, is even more important.

Turkey hunts target male turkeys during the spring season from late April to late May, respectively. Hunts scheduled in Connecticut can be half or full day hunts, while Rhode Island and Massachusetts hunts are limited to half-day morning hunts per state regulations.
During the hunt, Justin and the client(s) will actively pursue gobblers. Hunters will learn what to look for and interpret how male birds are interacting with breeding hens and using the environment. The objectives for spring turkey hunts include: understanding turkey habits and behaviors; learning location and calling methods and adapting to situational changes. All Moose hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Moose spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Moose country is very flat in this area, can be dry, but normally wet and boggy area where they live. Once your trophy is taken, it is then tagged, caped, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Moose meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Moose meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Moose rack and cape are back at the lodge, caped is fleshed, ears, lips, nose and bell is turned and then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October.
(Alces Alces-Latin Name) β Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaskaβs APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me, what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
(Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times itβs a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peel, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Our rocky mountain elk hunts are featured in the heart of Arizona. Hunters need to be prepared to endure all possible weather conditions. It is important that clients be in good physical hiking condition to endure the Arizona terrain and to gain that edge to connect with your trophy bull.
The average bull scores 300+ inches up to 400 inches depending on time frame of the season and unit. We only hunt for big mature bulls with the great possibility of harvesting a Pope and Young in the respected trophy units in Arizona. You will be given the same professional service no matter what the time frame is or the unit you will be hunting in.
We offer two types of rifle trips, for those who are lucky enough to draw an early season rifle tag. The early tag hunt will find you setting up on post rut bulls. This hunt is exciting for us as guides to find those bulls finishing up the rut. It is our chance to get within rifle distance of those bulls. Your guide will also utilize calling, spot and stalking, and setting up at strategic ambush sites. If a huge bull is your goal, then this trip will provide you with the opportunity to reach or exceed that goal.
Our late season hunt is slower paced than the early season hunt. We will spend time glassing up bulls and then making that stalk of a lifetime. We have done our homework and know just where these bulls go after the mating season has taken its toll on them. As these solitary bulls regain their mass after the rut season, it is not uncommon to find more than one bull though. Making this a hunt that will give you the hunter an opportunity to pick your bull. Expect shots out to 800 yards.
Our early & late rifle season Arizona bull elk trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shooting opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these bulls is by glassing and stalking with an emphasis on glassing.

Join us for a wild hog hunt and experience old Florida like you never have before. We have a hands-on approach to our hog hunts, running our highly trained team of hog dogs and getting up close and personal with some big boars. When the dogs pick up a scent, the hunt is on! We track hogs through thick, swampy terrain until we corner a keeper. Trust us when we say, this is a hunt you'll never forget.
Due to the devastation feral hogs can create in Florida ecosystems, there is no season and no bag limit. We hunt wild hogs year-round. These aren't your average farm pigs. These are wild boars, ferocious beasts that can grow to enormous sizes and inflict serious damage. From the time the dogs pick up the scent until you take the shot, it's an adrenaline-pumping experience.
While there's nothing like hunting with the dogs, and no arguing they're the best tool for the job, we also offer thermal optic night hunts. Using a Pulsar Thermal Monocular, we can spot and hunt hogs at night with ease. As our buddy Austin puts it, this beauty, the Helion XP50, boasts the ability to see a "deer fart from a thousand yards."
We hunt on the Seminole Prairie Ranch property. They're great friends and great stewards of Florida wildlife and habitat. Every hunt here is like a safari, with Asian Water Buffalo, Axis Deer, and other exotic animals calling this private 2,000-acre ranch home. Our hunts help control the feral hog population and keep this Old-Florida habitat pristine.

Deer hunts target whitetail deer during the regular firearms and archery season (βSeptember through December, respectively). Given the nature of deer, a side by side, one on one guided hunt is not practical. Instead, a scouting day is offered.
During the scouting day, Justin and the client(s) will go through a selected area to prepare for a hunt. Hunters will learn what to look for and interpret how deer are interacting with the environment. The goal is to build a harvest strategy depending on the observations made during the scout, the time of year and upcoming weather. Reach out for more deer hunting information!

Our passion for gator hunting and our dedication to our clients is second to none. We have been able to keep a 10ft plus average each year and thanks to proper management it keeps getting better! We have guided amazing people to amazing gators including a 12β8 Monster taken by a Smith and Wesson Client, a pile of big gators for Cabelaβs clients, and a whole lot more. We harvested a 12β3 MONSTER GATOR that took 3rd place in the Statewide Big Gator Shootout, a 12β4 giant that won the Florida Sportsman 1st annual Gator Tournament, and in 2019 weβve already harvested 33 gators over 10β². Our clients come from all over the world and all go home with amazing trophies and stories to tell. We want to guide you to your Hunt of a Lifetime! We have been guiding gator hunts for 19 years and each year is better than the last.
We have hunters celebrate graduations, birthdays, honeymoons, corporate business celebrations, and more; it is always a blast! Did we mention the 13ft giant alligator that Adam and his son Tristan harvested? What a beast of an Alligator! Give Capt. Kevin a call; he is happy to answer your questions and ensure your adventure is one you never forget. *No matter the reason, it is Always Gator Season! We hunt 365 days a year and your success is always guaranteed! There are a number of ways to hunt Gators, and we will customize your hunt to meet your expectations. NO NEED TO BE A ZOMBIE!
Everyone has heard the horror stories about their cousin who spent all night gator hunting with nothing to show for it other than a newfound addiction to Red Bull and Coffee. We refuse to do that to our clients unless they are looking for an βAll Night Experienceβ. We guarantee your success, and most of our clients harvest their Gator(s) well within a 4-hour time frame. Capt. Kevin lives within 10 minutes of the hunting property, making it easy for him to keep an eye on the gators and knowing when and where these beasts are going to be when you get here. Guaranteed Success or No Pay! We hunt different times of day depending on the type of adventure you are looking for, the particular body of water we are hunting, the weather, etc. Ultimately, we can hunt any time of day to accommodate your needs.
We always adjust to conditions to make the most of your time on the water and get you on your gator! Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number and size of gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater your hunt to the experience you are looking for. **We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you donβt have to. **Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and is well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. If you have a specific time you want to be on or off the water, we will gladly accommodate the timing of your trip to meet your needs. Capt. Kevin lives for this and will make sure you enjoy a hunt of a lifetime! Guaranteed Success! We provide the tag! Reserve yours before we sell out! The great thing about alligator hunting is the diversity. In Florida, you can hunt day or night with a variety of weapons. If you choose to use a rifle, crossbow, harpoon or archery, these prehistoric monsters always make it a challenge! Whether you hunt day or night and regardless of your weapon choice, you will enjoy an adventure of a lifetime!
These fully guided wild alligator hunts can only be done at night from boats using harpoons, crossbows, spear guns, and fishing poles. This by far, is the most exciting action packed way to hunt wild Florida alligators. Most people love the boat ride just as much as the hunt. If you like action packed hunting all night with never a dull moment, this is the hunt for you. If you are the laid back type of hunter, ask about our day hunts. Whatever you wish, we can help you check gator hunting off your bucket list!

California is known for our trophy class wild boar, and the 360 Ranch is proud to boast one of the healthiest hog populations in Northern California.
Your day starts before sunrise as you and your guide travel through the ranch to a blind, stand, or lookout point. While many of our hunts involve spot and stalk, we always cater to each hunter's preference, providing options to hunt from a blind or stand - located in areas of heavy pig activity.
The 360 Ranch is one of the few ranches to also offer Texas-Style estate hunts in high-fenced preserve. Guided hunts take advantage of the entire 10,000 acre ranch plus the preserve. This ensures hunts are tailored to each guest's experience level and expectations.
In either case, you can expect to see 50+ pigs in a single day - ranging in size from less than 100 lbs. to well over 300 lbs. Weather you are looking for a mature boar with trophy-class tusks or a healthy "meat" pig, your guide will help evaluate the pigs you encounter on your hunt to ensure you harvest the type of animal you desire.

We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag," you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw!
If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants' spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum.
In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt.

Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too.
The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally, these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas.
Rifle seasons take place in October, November, and December. In late November through December, these bucks will be busy in pre-rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more memorable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting sticks in different positionsβ you never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready.

All Mt. Goat hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success, with many cases, a packer is added for those extended missions. Depending on where you are hunting Mt. Goat in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Mt. Goat spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Mt. Goat country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to 1000 mountain ridges along the coastal areas of the North Gulf Coast. With the use of our small aircraft, we are able to access areas where mountain goats have never seen a human before and can normally find a hunting area to fit your physical needs.
Once your trophy Mt. Goat is taken, it is then tagged, skinned peeled, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Mt. Goat hide and horns are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail are turned and hooves knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October.
(Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to overharvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billieβs 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billieβs in our area, normally Billieβs weighing in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have βBuffalo Billieβsβ weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.

Because of the number of available licenses and the large amount of private property, the draw has a high chance of being 100% successful, sometimes with licenses left over.

The spring bear hunts take place in GMUβs 13 and 20 that are home to some of the densest Bear populations in the state. The majority of the state allows for a Bear every 4 regulatory years but these units allow for a Bear every year as the population is strong and growing in spite of my efforts. So come help me give the Moose, Caribou and Sheep a chance β lets go Bear hunting!
My spring time bear hunts kick-off in April and are conducted primarily by snowmobile. These early hunts are usually denning hunts that entail snowmobiling in the mountain ranges of the Talkeetnaβs and the Central Alaska Range and looking for the telltale sign of a den that has been freshly excavated. Bears will typically come and go from their dens from several days to a few weeks from when they first wake up. Bears harvested at this time of year have long unblemished coats and claws that are long and knife-like as they havenβt been digging for foods and such. There is also a $10,000 trophy fee.

All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate animals, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, Kuiu island has the highest density black bear population anywhere in Alaska. There is also a healthy population of wolves on the island, and it is not unusual for hunters to have an opportunity at a wolf during black bear hunts.
In general bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, moose, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is southeast Alaska. Or if youβre lucky, go pull up a pot of crabs for lunch/dinner!
Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding.
During the Fall the focus shifts to these stream bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon.

There are lots of places to hunt Merriamβs but few can compare to the scenic beauty of river breaks country in Eastern Montana. We can say with confidence that you will have the best Merriamβs guides in Montana. Our crew cut their teeth on educated Easterns and know these birds inside and out. You wonβt find a more dedicated crew who will work tirelessly to make sure you have the best hunt possible.
We have a strong population of un-pressured, mature birds and itβs not uncommon to watch a big Tom work in from quite a ways off. We strictly manage our hunt area to maintain an abundant population of older age class birds so it doesn't matter if youβre the first group in camp or the last, you are going to have an amazing hunt with lots of mature birds to chase around each day. In addition to world class Turkey hunting, we also offer the opportunity to fish and hunt prairie dogs while you are staying with us.

Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey hosts some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem. Another bonus of hunting in New Jersey is the Canada Goose limits and seasons can be different from Delaware allowing more opportunities in the field.
We offer both Maryland and New Jersey Canada goose hunting during the September season. Both states can offer great hunting when conditions are right. Now that we are hunting two states it increases our chances to consistently put our clients on birds. Our two hunting areas in these two states are only an hour apart, we can easily scout both areas on a daily basis. Most of these resident birds are very vulnerable to good calling and decoys particuarly the juveniles.
We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylandsβ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields β a favorite of Canada geese. These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season.
Kevin Popo Guide Service also provides large spreads of todayβs top-quality decoys. We use both Big Foot and Real Geese decoys to provide you with the best opportunity of harvesting Canada geese. Depending on the weather and field conditions, these realistic decoys can mean the difference betwwen a good or slow day especially on late season geese. All of our decoys are well maintained and new decoys are bought on an annual basis.
Both our New Jersey Canada goose hunting and Maryland Canada goose hunting is done from large, spacious and well-maintained pits. Our pits are all 16-20 ft long and 6 ft wide to ensure you stay dry and comfortable no matter how bad the weather. You havenβt experienced atrue Canda goose hunt until you have geese literally trying to landing on your head!!.
Some days world-class calling is the difference between a mediocre hunt and a limit hunt. We make the sounds (or notes) needed to have the birds landing right at your feet because we realize you are here to experience a memorable canada goose hunt not to listen to a great caller.

All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof islands, have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world.
Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world.
In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically, the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing, where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles, and any number of other species may be observed.
Spring sees brown bears emerging from their long hibernation in search of their first meal in many months. They look for sedge grass flats along the edge of the water. Sedge grass stalks are spiky, wide, and stiff, but the sedge grass is up to 25% protein at this time of the year. Consuming large quantities of fresh sedge grass helps replenish the lack of proteins during hibernation and restart the digestive system.
During the spring, hunters and guides will use skiffs to locate bears and do an initial evaluation on size, quality, and whether a stalk is possible based on current conditions and location. Once a potential bear is located, the real excitement begins as the guide works with the hunter to get on land to stalk close enough to get a better view and make a final decision on whether to harvest the bear. This can be extremely tricky as bears have an incredible sense of smell, and the slightest shift in the wind can alert the bear, who will then quickly disappear back into the arboreal rain forest.
Because bears are more wary after emerging from the den in the spring, archery hunting can be a real challenge. While it is not impossible to archery hunt brown bears in the spring, it is much more difficult than the fall when bears tend to congregate around salmon streams and are focused on putting on as much fat as possible to help them survive hibernation.
While Spring in Alaska is typically warmer than either the Fall or Winter, it can still be chilly out on the water, and rain can definitely be a significant factor during the hunt. You may also run into warm sunny days, with chilly evenings during the return to the boat, so having the right gear will make all the difference in the world. The ability to βlayer up, layer downβ and keep dry will make a big difference in both your comfort and your success. So make sure to have a look at the recommended gear listing below.

Whether it's low, well-managed brush cover, idle cropfields or woodland habitat, we have you covered.
While it would be easy to plant vast fields of grasses and walk away, we know from 50 years of hunting experience that those types of simplistic approaches to creating cover don't work. That's why our main focus at Markover is the careful planning, executing and maintaining rich cover to create the diverse conditions of our hunting fields that generations of hunters have come to expect and enjoy.
Interspersed with patches of native praire grass and intermittent low pines, you'll find our fields to be ideal for full season bird cover.
Most of our off-season at Markover is spent maintaining and establishing our diverse cover. As the seasons pass, you'll find that our ground growth and foliage offerings change while continuing to offer quality bird holding areas that are available all year long without sacrificing huntability.
Picturesque and well-maintained, you'll find the views throughout our fields to be a spectacular addition to your hunting experience.

This method ensures complete stealth mode and has proven to be the most productive for locating those bigger more mature trophy boars. Clients can also be placed in a box stand over looking an automatic feeder for their hunt if requested. Thermal imaging hog hunting has quickly become one of the most exciting and productive methods of harvesting wild hogs. With a 100% guaranteed opportunity; you can be sure this hunt will provide some lifetime memories.
Black Tine Outfitters thermal imaging hog hunts is all inclusive. Weapon, thermal optic and ammunition is provided on this hunt. We do not have a minimum or maximum number of hunters that can participate in this hunt. We have hosted numerous corporate retreats, bachelor parties, birthday parties and even large collegiate gatherings. Be sure to give us a call for special event pricing. There is probably a pretty good chance that you have already heard about thermal imaging, however you might not be aware of what it actually is.
Thermal imaging optics effectively translate heat- that is, thermal energy- into visible light to analyze surroundings. Living things and mechanical equipment generate heat, making them detectable even in total darkness. These optics can be very precise, requiring only a small amount of heat to work effectively. The level of thermal radiation emitted by an object is called its heat signature. The hotter an object is, the greater the signature will be. The thermal imaging optic is capable of distinguishing heat sources and very small differences in thermal signature. It compiles this data into a complete "heat image" distinguished by heat levels.
Utilizing this equipment in the hunting industry has been proven to be a valuable asset in feral hog population control. Unlike traditional night vision optics (illustrated above) thermal imaging is much more advanced for detecting animals that can be just off the beating path. Making quick target acquisition more successful. The wild feral hog is naturally a nocturnal animal, especially your older, more mature trophy boar hogs. We solve this issue by utilizing thermal imaging optics. Mounted on an AR-15 chambered in .300 AAC Blackout, this set up is perfect for all ages as well as all levels of experience. Perfect for youngsters and first time hunters.
Our thermal hog hunts are also a great way to hunt with out dealing with that humid Florida heat. If you are after that true Florida trophy boar hog, this is certainly a hunt to consider. A $50 per hunter Non refundable deposit is required to book a hog hunt. Deposits are non transferable. Deposits will go towards balance of hunt. All wild hog hunts are fully guided and include cleaning and quartering your harvested game. All hog hunting rates are listed as per hunter per hog. Additional hogs can be purchased for an additional discounted rate.

All Mt. Goat hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success, with many cases, a packer is added for those extended missions. Depending on where you are hunting Mt. Goat spike camp is portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent is 8βX8β and is equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort.
(Oreamnos Americanus - Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska, with some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologists in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billies 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billies in our area, normally Billies weighing in at 285 to 325 pounds, and then we have βBuffalo Billiesβ weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.
(Ursus Americanus - Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. Depending on where you are hunting in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp is portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent is 8βX8β or larger and is equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort.
Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas during April, May, and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned, and peeled, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, the hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned, and knuckles are out; it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from the lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage at the end of the season.

The descendants of these animals animals have been living wild in the dense pockets of rainforest on Mauna Loa ever since. Vancouver bulls are Hawaii's dangerous game. Wounded bulls have been known to charge, and guides accompany both archery and rifle hunters with a 12 gauge slug gun in hand. Trophy bulls can weigh well over 1000 pounds.

Fully guided Northeastern California elk hunting trips. The far northeast corner of California is home to a robust population of Rocky Mountain elk. A vast area and an extremely limited amount of tags historically produces quality bulls.
Spot and stalk and calling are both productive methods in this zone. Most importantly is time behind the glass pre-season locating groups of elk.

During winter when hides are prime you can find big heavy coated gray fox throughout California. Gray fox are targeted with hand calls. Itβs a blast watching 1, 2, 3, or sometimes more foxes come running into a call station where you have to be quick with the gun before they sense something isnβt right and disappear into the brush.
The foxes in California can be great for taxidermy or wall hangers. Let us know what type of hunt youβd prefer and we will make it happen.

Wild, free-ranging whitetail deer are plentiful on our property. We feed corn and plant attractants such as winter wheat in select areas to help draw in and sustain the population. They graze alongside our cattle, as well as in separate food plot areas reserved for wildlife. We provide a mixture of tree stands and ground-level blinds, ideally situated to overlook high traffic areas.
Thereβs no more authentic Ozark Mountain experience than an old-fashioned coon hunt. Our guides were raised right here in East Richwoods, hunting deer by day and coons by night, and know all there is to know about this sport. Trained coon dogs are provided, or you may bring your own. Vehicles are provided to get you in and out of the woods, but be prepared to walk when your dog trees a coon up the side of a hill or across the holler!
No high fences. No tame animals. No extra charge for trophy kills. Just authentic, fair-chase hunting of wild game in its natural Ozark Mountain habitat. Farm land with a mixture of woods and small clearings, pastures, creeks, and ponds. Land is reserved for one group at a time.
Lodging is provided in the farmhouse, a 2,300-square-foot family home. Non-hunting guests are included in lodging for free, with a minimum of three hunting. House includes five full or queen beds, four twins, and two youth-size beds. Camp cots and extra pillows and bedding are also available. You are also welcome to camp on the property. There is a nice spot for primitive camping on the creek about 1/4 mile from the house. Discuss your needs with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your group!

A guided spot and stalk hog hunt consists of 1 hunter on 1 guide or 2 hunters on 1 guide in the spot and stalk scenarios. The hunting preserve area is approximately 300 acres so be prepared for a little walking. There are stands and ambush points the guides can direct you to if a hunter isnβt physically able to walk. This is a challenging hog hunt that is great for introducing young or inexperienced hunters to the outdoors. The hog hunting guides will help teach guests how to maneuver through the woods undetected on well-worn game trails and the hog hunters will learn how to use the wind and patience on approach. We provide shooting sticks for rifle hunters. We allow hunters to choose their weapon of choice.
While on a typical spot and stalk hog hunt your guide will predetermine a time for continental breakfast at the main lodge and then depart shortly afterward for the hunting grounds. We have had multiple hogs taken over the years on the way to the hunting location so the hunter could experience an added bonus. Once arriving to their hog hunting spots, the guide will then lead the way and help you stalk into your competent shooting range. This hog hunt is also great for large parties of hunters. The guides will safely divide the hunting area into zones and communicate together to help track moving boar and hopefully ensure success for their clients. After the hunt, the guides will load the hog or hogs and take them back to our processing facility so the meat can be prepared for transport or placed into our walk-in coolers until time for departure.

The hunting season in Alabama generally runs mid-October through March 30. There still exists some public lands where hunting is prized, however itβs likely you will need a local to show you such locations. Our place in the heart of the south, along with the care we take to manage the land, provides our guests with unbelievable quail hunting in Alabama. Southern hospitality, courteous guides, comfortable lodging, and gourmet food make for a memorable hunting experience. 15 quail, 4 chukar, 2 pheasant.

All hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere.
MOOSE: (Alces Alces-Latin Name) β Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders.
BROWN BEAR: (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
MOUNTAIN GOAT: (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billieβs 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billieβs in our area, normally Billieβs weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have βBuffalo Billieβsβ weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.
BLACK BEAR: (Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack. Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards. That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of the most rewarding and most beautiful trophies.
Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. If you are a bowhunter, we offer two time choices: an early archery deer hunt in August through mid-September and a rut archery season in January. The early season during Aug-Sept is mainly conducted sitting a water hole. The January rut archery season is a bit more challenging and can be considered the ultimate "spot-and-stalk" deer hunt! Our rut Coues deer bowhunting takes place from January 1 through January 31. There are no trees in classic Coues deer country, which leaves out treestand hunting as a January technique. Our guides use glassing methods to locate a good buck. Once a good Coues buck is located, it is then carefully stalked to within a comfortable distance.
Carefully stalking involves staying out of sight, walking lightly on the loud, crunchy, brush-choked, gravel ground to avoid noise, and always keeping the wind in your favor. Once into position, the archery hunter waits patiently for the right moment to release an arrow. If the bucks are rutting hard, rattling, grunting and/or doe bleats will sometimes bring the buck closer for an opportunity to release an arrow. Since it is a spot and stalk hunt, archery shots tend to be in the 30 to 60 yard range. The further you can shoot a bow accurately, the higher your chances for success. Our guided Coues bowhunters see many bucks during this rut hunt. Hunters typically make 1 to 3 stalks per day. Most of our archery coues hunters release arrows at bucks. Getting a Coues deer with a bow though, ultimately "boils-down" to the archery hunter's ability to use good stalking techniques. Archery deer hunts are 5 days in duration (instead of 4). We conduct an early archery season (Aug-Sept) and a late season (January). August archery deer hunts may be combined with archery bear (In that case, the total hunt cost would be the current bear hunt rate), if you so choose to purchase an OTC bear tag. January hunts can be combined with javelina during the first 3 weeks of January, if you so choose to apply for and draw a javelina tag. Archery deer tags are over the counter for residents, but are limited for nonresidents (on a first-come, first-serve basis online). Our success rate for Archery Coues hunts is typically double that of the general public's archery Coues success rate. Most of our archery harvests would make the Pope and Young minimum.
