The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 Β½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doeβs that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doeβs in highly populated areas. As a whole β the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best.
We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is βif we wouldnβt hunt it, we wonβt hang it!β We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. Itβs like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hangβonβs with climbing sticks (20β²-25β²); ladder stands (16β²-20β²); shooting houses (7β²-10β²); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, itβs just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself.
All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the βGolden Triangleβ of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties.
All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better.
Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods.
Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired.
Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Deer hunts target whitetail deer during the regular firearms and archery season (βSeptember through December, respectively). Given the nature of deer, a side by side, one on one guided hunt is not practical. Instead, a scouting day is offered.
During the scouting day, Justin and the client(s) will go through a selected area to prepare for a hunt. Hunters will learn what to look for and interpret how deer are interacting with the environment. The goal is to build a harvest strategy depending on the observations made during the scout, the time of year and upcoming weather. Reach out for more deer hunting information!

Goat hunting requires us to go up into the mountains of Baranof Island where the goats live. It is definitely more strenuous than a bear hunt, but the views, and the experience, are well worth it!
Mountain Goat hunts are conducted in October and we will be camping at an altitude of around 3,000 feet. So hunters should expect to encounter some chilly temperatures during the hunt. Layered clothing appropriate for both hiking and extended periods glassing for goats will definitely be required, as will comfortable, and well broken in hiking boots. Time will be spent glassing for the right goat that is in an accessible location, both for the harvest, and the retrieval.

Axis deer or Chital deer is one of the most popular game mammals to hunt in Hawaii. If you want an extreme challenge, Axis deer hunting is the way to go. They can see, hear and sense you from a distance, and will run circles around you.
In the 1860s, Axis deer were introduced to the island of Molokai, Hawaii as a gift from Hong Kong to King Kamehameha V. The deer were introduced to Lanai, another of the Hawaiian Islands, soon afterward and are now plentiful on both islands. These animals are very clean and do not have fleas or ticks. Studies have shown that they have never been found with diseases that threatened their species. They have also been found to heal themselves from bullet wounds and injuries. The Axis deer known for their beautiful white spotted cape and dark colored horns make the deer popular game to hunt in Hawaii. In the culinary world, Axis deer is popular for its high quality meat, and raised in Florida and Texas.
HOW GOOD IS THE AXIS DEER HUNTING?: We measure our success based on the opportunity we provide our hunters at game that is in range and a reasonable shot for them to take. You can figure that the average hunter will encounter around 8 shooter Axis bucks during a one day hunt. This does not mean that you will see 8 shooters on your hunt and we do not guarantee the amount of game that you will see. It simply means this is the average per hunter. Some hunters will see 12 shooter bucks or more, some 4, and on a rare occasion 1 or none. However the average during the season is around 8 shooter bucks per hunt. Hunters may see 30-50 Axis deer during their 1 day hunt. HOWEVER SOME OF OUR HUNTERS MAY ENCOUNTER 400 or more axis deer during their hunt! Hunters physical condition and ability can also factor in the amount of deer they will see and what they harvest. Make no mistake you have an excellent chance at harvesting a great Axis deer. You are allows to harvest 1 buck and 1 doe. Antler size (length of the longest main beam) range from 20" to 36" or more!
Hunting Method: We hunt Axis deer from a treestand, ground blind, or spot stalk method--whichever you prefer or based on your capability.
98% Track Record! Save time and money on a 1 day hunt! No hunter we have booked in the history of Hook You Up Outfitters has EVER went home without an opportunity in bow or rifle range on their Axis deer hunt. You can book a 2 day hunt if you like, but every hunter so far has harvested what they are looking for on the first day.

One of the most coveted and sought-after turkeys to bag is the Osceola Turkey. This unique bird is one of four subspecies of wild turkey in North America needed to complete your Grand Slam. The Osceola Turkey is a prize among all hunters due to its challenging nature and small area of population; it is considered by many the hardest bird of the North American Turkey Grand Slam!
Our guides have years of experience calling and stalking Toms and spend countless hours scouting leased and owned properties every season. Our low pressure practices and ethical harvesting of only mature Toms has provided us with successful hunts year after year. Leased and owned property used while turkey hunting stretches across multiple zones, giving us an early season and late season opportunity to harvest birds. Florida also hosts an early youth weekend as well, so make sure you take advantage of booking your youthβs hunt during that time!
Fox Brown Outfitters offers a three-day hunting package for $2,750, consisting of three morning hunts and three afternoon hunts. It includes first-class meals, lodging, transportation on our privately owned or leased ranches, and one Osceola Turkey. While there are no guarantees in turkey hunting, we have had a 100% success rate giving hunters the opportunity to harvest a mature Osceola on our ranches. When available, a second bird may be harvested at an additional charge.

The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain.
Coues Deer hunting is the ultimate challenge; however, an archery hunt during the late December & January rut would be a memorable experience for any hunter. By utilizing tree stands, natural blinds, calling and glassing methods; your guide will help you locate the "Elusive Grey Ghost". Once a buck is located the stalk is on for you to make your harvest. Archery shots typically range from 40 yards out to 70 yards range. Precision and accuracy will give you a higher chance for success on this trip, so practice is highly recommended.
The OTC tags and licenses for our trophy Arizona coues deer trip are purchased online and do not need to be drawn.

Professional California quail hunting guide and outfitter in Northern California.
As the name implies valley quail inhabit lower elevation valleys throughout California. They can also be found higher in altitude along the mountain foothills and high desert riparian areas. Thick briars and brush pockets intermixed with grassy openings are the perfect place to begin the search. During optimally wet years the valley quail hatches can be large and winter flocks in the dozens. When cooperative they can hold tight for dogs and explode like bullets out of the briars.
Valley quail hunts can be effectively combined with mountain quail, squirrel, dove, and rabbit hunting.
We use pointing dogs that are also trained to retrieve for quail hunts.
California Quail are also known as Valley Quail.

With access to over 7,000 acres of leases over a 35-mile area, Ducks-n-Dogs offers a wide array of Arkansas waterfowl hunting opportunities. From flooded fields of rice, beans, milo, and corn, to flooded timber, river sloughs, and cypress swamps we offer a variety of fully guided duck & goose hunting opportunities. Our guides scout the surrounding area daily to locate positions holding the largest concentrations of birds to assure you and your hunting group a great waterfowl hunting experience.
Generally, hunting is done out of skid blinds and pit blinds (although duck boats are sometimes used as conditions may dictate). Transportation to and from the blinds is provided by our Polaris crew cabs or 4-Wheelers. Most of our fields employ decoy spreads of anywhere between 100 - 500 decoys. Each group has its own professional guide and retrieving dog. All of our duck hunting guides are locals to the Stuttgart region, with life-long waterfowl hunting knowledge of the area. They are expert duck hunters and duck callers, and work hard to provide you with a successful and memorable Arkansas duck hunt.
Stuttgart, Arkansas offers some of the best flooded timber duck hunts in the nation. For many seasoned duck hunters, this is a dream hunt. At Ducks n Dogs, we hunt a variety of flooded timber holes around the lodge. The timing for a flooded timber hunt can be a little tricky, depending on water conditions, so contact us for more details about planning a hunt. Duck hunting in flooded timber is so exciting because there is nothing like watching a flock of distant ducks respond to an expert caller but flooded timber hunts offer a different type of excitement. As a pair wood ducks or mallards appear and start circling close, you suddenly see them multiply - it can feel like being surrounded by a swarm of bees. The buzzing builds until youβve got flocks working in and out of the timber at many levels. Thereβs less need for calling with hunting flooded timber but the excitement is equal to any waterfowl hunt.
Waterfowl Hunting around Stuttgart: Be it a rice field, flooded timber (when conditions permit), cypress pond, or a secret honey-hole our guides will employ a lifetime of guiding and hunting knowledge to create the Best Duck Hunting experience in Arkansas. With a variety of waterfowl hunting opportunities, you will be shooting ducks and geese, supported by our highly trained duck hunting dogs.

Everglades Adventures alligator hunts are conducted exclusively on large private lands in South Florida, ensuring a fair chase experience. We do not hunt behind fences or within enclosures, and we never use alligators caught in the wild and placed for hunters. Our hunts are all free-range, meaning we only target wild alligators on open lands. Additionally, we do not use drugs or refrigerants to make the alligators lethargic.
Our hunts employ advanced methods and equipment to ensure effectiveness and safety. Hunters can use compound bows, recurve bows, and crossbows for the initial shot, equipped with a fishing reel attachment and a retrieval line of at least 200-pound test, followed by a bang stick for the final harvest

Centrally located between the huge tidal marshes of southern New Jersey and endless cornfields of Marylandβs Eastern Shore, Delaware winters close to 500,000 snow geese annually. Delaware is home to two major snow geese roosts- the 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Kent County) and the 9,900 acre Prime Hook Nationals Wildlife refuge. (Sussex County) Combined these refuges host over 400,000 snow geese each fall. Both refuges provide large fresh water impoundments and tidal marshes for snow geese.
We currently lease over 30 farms in Kent and Sussex county. We have farms covering a large area both close to and farther inland from the refuges. Since we have hunted these areas for over twenty years, we have leased only the best farms used by wintering snow geese.
Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly full bodies and some silo socks. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the βXβ is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 1500 β 2000 decoys are needed for those same results.
Your guide will meet you at the hotel or at an assigned place at an assigned time. From the hotel you will follow your guide to the farm. Have your snacks, coffee, and refreshments ready for your morning hunt as we will not be stopping at a convenience store. Everyone will help in setting up the decoy spread. The guide calls all the shots. At the end of the hunt, everyone helps picking up the decoys.

Montana black bear are fair game in both the fall and spring! Color phase bears in shades of cinnamon, chocolate, and blonde are seen more frequently than jet black bears. In fact, the Swan Valley is home to some of the best black bear hunting in Montana. Our bear hunts often utilize horses, which makes us a very unique option for guided bear hunts in Montana. Montana bear hunting in our area is pure fair chase, no baiting or use of dogs, in fact we canβt even use scents.
The Swan Valley is one of the few areas in Montana that remains open for black bear hunting until June 15th. In the spring these animals are very active. They consolidate in numbers on the valley floor taking advantage of the new growth to bulk up after hibernation. Using a combination of horses and hiking, weβll hunt rockslides, search old logging roads and mountain meadows for scat and sit clear cuts. Hunters can elect to take some time to fish, taking advantage of our βCast & Blastβ offering where you can have an opportunity to shoot a black bear, catch a lake trout and a northern pike all on the same adventure.

The lodge is situated right above Deckard Flats, which is the main migratory route for the northern Yellowstone elk herd. We are surrounded by National Forest and just a 1/2 mile from the Yellowstone boundary. We hunt migrating elk as well as a healthy native herd. These guided hunts are 5 days in length.
We take about 130 hunters a year. Our clients come back year after year and tell their friends about us. All of my hunters from my first few years in business are still hunting with us.
We have taken several corporate clients, who use the elk hunt as an opportunity to reward employees or forge bonds with clients. This is the ideal for enjoying yourself and improving your business relationships! If you have the time, please take a look at the quality elk that our clients take from their expeditions with Hellβs A-Roarinβ Outfitters!

Brown Bear hunting in Alaska is often considered the pinnacle of the North American hunting experience. While embarking on a brown bear hunt with Glacier Guides, you will be hunting the renowned βABCβ Islands for one of the most unique populations of Brown Bear in the world. Our hunts take place in both the spring and fall, with each respective season providing a unique experience in the style and method of hunting. The Alaskan Grandeur, our custom built and designed adventure yacht will serve as base camp, while access to the hunting grounds is done via 18 foot powered skiffs.
Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof are the three islands that comprise the βABCβ Islands of Southeast Alaska. Located at the northern end of the Alexander Archipelago, these three islands are home to one of the most distinctive and unique brown bear populations in North America, let alone the world. A must hunt for the most discriminating of sportsmen, the βABCβ Brown Bears show an ancestral lineage more closely related to polar bears as opposed to the typical Alaskan Brown Bear. These islands are also home to the Tongass National Forest, the largest national forest in the United States and one of the last remaining intact temperate rain forests in the entire world. Encompassing 17 million acres, the Tongass with its diverse ecology and geographic features provides one of the most breathtaking and stunning environments for a sportsmanβs adventure of a lifetime.
A spring Brown Bear hunt with Glacier Guides typically consists of ten hunting days and is often done in combination with a black bear hunt. Our Southeast Alaska spring hunting season starts in mid April and finishes at the end of May. This is one of the premier times to experience Alaska as the flora and fauna that inhabit the woods and water are awakening from their winter slumber, with the renewed optimism and growth that the spring season brings. During this season, the bears are emerging from their winter dens and venturing to the beaches and grass flats in search of the various food sources that will sustain them throughout the spring. A typical spring diet for a brown bear consists of new plant growth, sedge grass, kelp, small crustaceans, and any carrion that they can scavenge from amongst the surf whipped beaches.

Alabama Dove hunting guides and outfitters can offer a good deal of fun with this game bird. Alabama has many different land features from meadows and fields to wooded forest and rugged terrains of low mountains, all lending to fantastic dove shooting. When it comes to dove hunting in Alabama has over fifty-one thousand square miles of land to choose from, however, few places compare to our lodge (though, we might be a bit biased).
The dove is part of the pigeon family and is almost worldwide in distribution. While most abundant in warm, tropical countries, they are prevalent enough in Alabama to provide a most memorable shooting experience. Dove hunting in Alabama is similar to most areas, where the game birds dwell in trees or on the ground and feed on seeds, fruit and insects. The distinctive rapid flight speed makes shooting a challenge, and for this reason many sportsmen make a point to go out in search for the doveβs cooing each fall.
Hunters interested in dove shooting Alabama can recognize this game bird by its distinctive physical features: small head, short neck, stout body with short legs, sleek greyish plumage and the trademark fleshy protuberance at the base of the bill. Dove shooting is often done when the birds fly to or from their roost, or nesting area; a dove will build a loose, nearly flat nest of twigs, bark, straw, and weeds. Dove hunting in Alabama revolves almost completely around the mourning dove, as you will not find other species in this region. In Alabama, Dove hunting is a popular sport and many hunters plan their trips or guided hunts well in advance, as with any area with legendary dove shooting.

Montana is known for producing high numbers of color phase black bears; on average, over 60% of our bears are either brown, cinnamon, or blonde. We only hunt using spot and stalk tactics. A spring bear hunt can be one of the most enjoyable and beautiful times of the year to hunt in Montana. The weather is nice, the mountains are vibrant with spring colors, and there are usually lots of other animals to see during your hunt: Deer, Elk, Moose, etc.
We take a limited number of hunters each year to maximize the quality and success of our hunts. We spend the day glassing from vantage points in order to locate a bear that is in a good position for a stalk. Weather can play a big factor in day-to-day movement, but our hunters typically see multiple bears during their hunt. A spot and stalk hunt in the mountains of Montana can be physically demanding, similar to an elk hunt. If you arrive in good shape, you will have a much better chance of being successful.
Our hunt area is very open country, and we can see for great distances. This helps us spot bears but makes for some longer shot opportunities. To give yourself the best chance of being successful, you should be comfortable shooting out to 300 yards.

During winter when hides are prime you can find big heavy coated gray fox throughout California. Gray fox are targeted with hand calls. Itβs a blast watching 1, 2, 3, or sometimes more foxes come running into a call station where you have to be quick with the gun before they sense something isnβt right and disappear into the brush.
The foxes in California can be great for taxidermy or wall hangers. Let us know what type of hunt youβd prefer and we will make it happen.

The Eastern Colorado Mule & Whitetails Deer Hunts are on a drawing with limited number of licenses available. The limited number of hunters has resulted in an increase in both the number and quality of our deer. When you draw a tag in our area it is good for either a Mule Deer or a Whitetail Hunt.
Colorado has a preference point system and also has a percentage of licenses allotted to the landowner. This system has enabled our hunters to draw a tag with high success using the landowner preference we have available to us. Most regular season hunts you can draw allow you to hunt with us using our landowner preference. Late season hunts will take points in addition to our landowner preference. This year we will again have available a number of landowner vouchers which will enable you to purchase a license without having to draw a tag or use any accumulated preference points.

These are spot and stalk bear hunts using the advantage of natural food sources and Bearpaw Outfitter's extensive knowledge of bear habits. Spring Bear Hunts are also offered in Idaho. These are among the most rugged Montana elk hunts, and we often describe them as βextremeβ hunts. Our hunts are guided in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Swan Valley areas of Montana off of horseback. Our guides and horses have been preparing and getting shape all summer long on backcountry pack trips; elk season is what theyβve been waiting for!
We offer combination hunts in which you can target mule deer, whitetail, and bear as well. Some of our hunters have snagged a wolf tag too! Many of our elk hunters bring both their rifle and bow. Multi-weapon hunts are popular with elk hunters that like to maximize their opportunity.
We like to get deep into the back country and utilize spike camps. This can get us in closer proximity to the elk for opening day. This spike camp strategy has produced many harvested elk in seasons past, but does lack the comforts of traditional hunting camps. Our elk herds are in better shape today than they have been in thirty years! Our hunting areas also support ample populations of whitetail and mule deer and color phase black bear, increasing the chances of success across species. This terrain is more challenging to hunt elk in, no doubt, no flat land here. We utilize our horses to search the front range of the Bob Marshall for elk. With exclusive access in the areas where we hunt, Swan Mountain Outfitters is able to offer archery elk hunters perhaps one of the most unique and best opportunities to bag an elk of a lifetime with a bow. As the season progresses, migration of elk begins and affords our late season elk hunters an opportunity to bag an elk at lower altitudes.

The opportunity to harvest these birds starts in November and goes through to January, however, their migrations through New England differ significantly and vary annually depending on climate and weather. This, ultimately, results in optimal time intervals to hunt each species.
If youβre interested in harvesting a specific species, see the table below for a consensus of the Atlantic Flyway migration through southern New England for sea & diver ducks. Contact Justin on when to book your hunt and details for the best opportunity given this yearβs conditions.
