RUT Firearms Bull Elk Hunt, 6-Day
We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow. Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

Arizona Black Bear Hunting, Guided But No Lodging, OTC Tags
Arizona offers extraordinary trophy color phase bear hunting with many record book boars harvested every year in the southwest. We primarily hunt in late summer to early fall August - November. During this time bears are very active during the day time and spend majority of their day exploring for food. Bears come in many unique color phases, black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde. On our hunt expect to do a great deal of glassing, walking, and hiking on spot n stalk or behind hounds, so you must be in good physical shape. These hunts offer a lot of excitement and has a very high success rate. We use three main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method, the calling method, and classic behind hounds pursuit. As our primary hunting technique, we trail behind hounds. Our second technique is spot-n-stalk, we hike to a good glassing point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. Once a mature bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Expect to take rifle shots across big canyons, so a bi-pod or tall standing shooting tripod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is highly recommended. Rifle shots on spot n stalk average 500+ yards, but be prepared for any distance (longer or shorter) if the need arrises. If you are a bowhunter, this Arizona spot and stalk bear hunt is the ultimate challenge. Rifle or hand gun shots behind hounds is 20 out to 50 yard shot placement. As a proven third technique, we use electronic predator call and utilize hand calling. Sometimes black bears prefer to stay in the thick oak brush, dense pinon pines, tall manzantia, prickly pear slopes, and juniper thickets where they eat acorns, pinon nuts, berries, cactus fruit, or juniper berries. These areas have thicker vegetation and allow for limited glassing. If this is where the bears are located at the time of your hunt, we may use limited glassing and use a predator call. This technique is an exciting way to pull a bear out of the brush and within shooting distance. The OTC tags and licenses for our trophy Arizona black bear hunts are purchased online and do not need to be drawn.

1x1 Guided Merriam's Turkey Hunt
The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest. These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience. Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

4-Day Combo Management Deer & Antelope Hunt in Wyoming
Big Horn Outfitters offers excellent mule deer hunting opportunities in Wyoming Game and Fish regions: C & Y. We harvest excellent deer every year averaging between 150-165β€³, with many larger deer harvested each year. You can expect to see good numbers of animals and have opportunities at respectable bucks during your hunt. For the most part, these hunts are only mildly physical and can be enjoyed by hunters of all ages and abilities. Success rates are generally 100% each year, the only hunters that haven’t harvested their deer, were looking for a specific animal simply chose not to take any others during their hunt. These deer hunts book up extremely fast, generally 2-4 years in advance and they all require 2 or more preference points to draw the tag in Wyoming. The Montana tag is a general deer license and will currently take 1 point to draw. Mule deer/Antelope combination hunts are very popular among our hunters and allow you to experience two great types of hunt on a single trip. Generally, you’ll focus on the deer in the morning and evenings and hunt antelope during the middle of the day.

2x1 Aoudad Hunt in Chinati Mountains - 4 Day, All Inclusive
These Free-Range Fair Chase Aoudad Sheep Hunts take place in the Chinati Mountains in West Texas on some of the largest ranches with a combined acreage of more than 750,000 acres. The properties have large populations of Aoudad Sheep and have placed many entries into the SCI Free Range Category, including 3 in the top 25. This is by no coincidence. Only certain regions of West Texas have the superior genetics to produce record book Aoudad Sheep, which the ranches have proven many times. Property size with proper management and allowing rams with the right genetics to reach 10-14 years of age is key to producing record book Aoudad.

5-Species Alaska Hunt: Moose, Dall Sheep, Brown Bear, Black Bear, and Caribou, 12 Day
A good time to hunt Sheep, Brown Grizzly Bears are going back and forth between salmon and berries. It's pre-rut for Moose and they'll start off in velvet and should be shedding by the end of this hunt. Moose may be taken for a trophy fee of $8500. A second Brown/Grizzly Bear may be harvested for an addition trophy fee of $6000 and second Black Bear for $750. Rainy Pass Lodge is your well-appointed, yet rustic-luxury hunting lodge in the heart of the Alaska Range. Below are a few highlights to help you fully understand what Rainy Pass Lodge has to offer. We hunt right out of the main lodge as well as out of more remote log cabins scattered throughout hundreds of miles of untamed wilderness. We feature fair chase hunting opportunities for multiple species. The land is so vast and untouched that there are animals here that have never seen a human before – this is the ultimate in fair chase old-world hunting. Our primary method of hunting is spot and stalk which is very successful for the type of terrain and animal habits in our area. We typically use β€˜look-out’ spots to locate the game, sometimes as far away as 5-6 miles, and having horses truly makes those animals attainable. Although we usually do not have to go that far, it’s nice to have options. We have roughly 80% repeat and referral clientele and have had the pleasure of hunting with multiple generations on many occasions. We aim to provide you with a true hunting adventure that will become a tradition as you pass down your hunting heritage to your kids and grandchildren. We will gladly provide you with a reference list for personal experiences and perspectives. E-MAIL us to request a reference list. We like to train our guides in-house rather than hiring from an outside pool of unemployed guides as many outfitters do. This insures that we provide you with properly trained guides to meet the service standards we demand. As well as having guides that are familiar with the area, camps, horses and animals. Meet our GUIDES. Rainy Pass Lodge is a family run operation with Steve H. Perrins II and his family working towards someday, taking over the business and carrying on the hunting traditions that Rainy Pass Lodge has established.

Snipe Hunt on Large Florida Public Property
Snipe Hunting is just a practical joke, right? Well, not quite… at Fox Brown Outfitters Snipe Hunting actually exists. Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe. Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. But don’t be fooled, it will be hard to tag out, these little birds fly fast, and as soon as you think you’ve got a shot, they dive, dip, and bolt the opposite direction! This hunt is for the sportsman looking for a challenge! This hunt includes lunch and the cleaning and packaging of your snipe. Shotguns may be rented and extra shells are available at an additional cost.

Two-Day Doe / Meat Axis Hunt on Maui
The Axis deer was introduced to Maui in the late 1950s. The Axis deer quickly multiplied since no natural predators existed on the island to manage the population. Axis deer are estimated to exceed 50,000 in total on Maui. The population is so large that island residents have difficulty protecting the island's natural and precious ecosystems. Hunting Axis deer is a sustainable practice that helps conserve the beauty and abundance of Maui's plants and other wildlife. All deer hunts can last up to 2 days. The hunt will end when (1) the hunter reaches the quota of deer as allotted by the selected plan, or (2) the hunt exceeds 2 days. An extra day of hunting for all hunt packages will be an additional charge. Extra hunting days will include all regular services. Hunting plans cover one hunter per purchase. If you wish to split a plan with a partner, please contact us for specific details. WHAT TO EXPECT: Fully licensed and experienced guide with you at all times during the hunt Field-dressing included Transportation to and from hunting location Safety briefing on Hawaii hunting rules TROPHY FEES: Hawaii Hunts does not charge an extra trophy fee when blood is drawn. Therefore, you are expected to pay the full price listed above before the hunt begins. MEAT PROCESSING: Included with your hunt, we will handle all post-hunt antler, cape, and meat processing. Processing includes cleaning, cutting, bagging, freezing, and packing for your trip back home. Shipping is not included.

Montana Combo Elk + Mule Deer Hunt Using 4x4 Trucks, 5.5 Days, 70K Private Acres
This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking. We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, a full shower/sauna, and WIFI! DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montana’s largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed to ridges and draws of timber, making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.) Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest, and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than the exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet, and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter, regardless of age or physical condition, can hunt. Our rifle elk hunts are all guided, 2 hunters per guide unless prior arrangements are made. Elk and deer licenses are on a draw basis and have to be applied for to the state of Montana by March 15. Draw rates in recent years have been 100%.

10-Day Brown Bear and Mountain Goat Hunt in Cardova, Alaska - Fall
All Brown Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere. Once your trophy is taken, it is tagged, skinned peeled and then packed out to the extraction point. Once Brown Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, it is fleshed, ears and lips are turned, along with knuckles and tail out, it is than salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of my spring season. With the abundance of a rich food source at the Tsiu, the Brown Bears naturally grow big. We have taken many 10 foot plus bears over the year with many skulls over 28 plus. At the Tsiu, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. The Tsiu area permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska. (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. Once your trophy Mt. Goat is taken, it is then tagged, skinned peeled, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Mt. Goat hide and horns are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail are turned and hooves knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October. (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have β€œBuffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.

Backcountry Rut Hunt for Trophy Moose
Alaska Moose Hunting with Willie Dvorak, Master Guide Guided moose hunting in Alaska can be a thrill of a lifetime. The hunts take place in September during the start of the rut. Calling a big bull into range is one of the most amazing things you will ever see. It is also one of the most exciting ways of hunting them. The Alaskan moose is the biggest of all moose. Great mass and wide spreads make an awe inspiring site on any trophy room wall. Moose have to be 50 inches wide or support 4 brow tines in this area to be legal. This helps insure trophy animals for next season and insures that any animal that is legal is a real trophy. It should be said that many hunters feel a moose is a β€œgimme” animal. This is not the case. Nor is it the case that a bull needs to be 60 inches wide to be a great trophy. The media has promoted this idea to the extent that they have taken something away from the sport of moose hunting. The first bull I ever killed was a young bull standing at 18 yards that I took with a bow on the first day of my first trip. The second bull I killed was a beautiful 56 inch bull that I shot with a .300 Win Mag at less than 100 yards on the second day of my second trip. Not all hunts are that easy. Be assured, a legal bull is a huge animal and to fill your moose tag in the wilds of Alaska will be a feat you will remember for the rest of your life. I recommend a minimum caliber of 30-06 for moose. The shots on moose are typically less than 100 yards. When you are planning a trip like this, it makes a lot of sense to be well practiced at further distances also. A 30-06 is a great weapon for any of the animals you may include on this hunt on a trophy fee basis. Trophy fee options will be applicable only if the Alaska State Game Regulations have open seasons for the species. Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.

11+ Gator Hunt (11' minimum) - Guaranteed Success
Our passion for gator hunting and our dedication to our clients is second to none. We have been able to keep a 10ft plus average each year and thanks to proper management it keeps getting better! We have guided amazing people to amazing gators including a 12’8 Monster taken by a Smith and Wesson Client, a pile of big gators for Cabela’s clients, and a whole lot more. We harvested a 12’3 MONSTER GATOR that took 3rd place in the Statewide Big Gator Shootout, a 12’4 giant that won the Florida Sportsman 1st annual Gator Tournament, and in 2019 we’ve already harvested 33 gators over 10β€². Our clients come from all over the world and all go home with amazing trophies and stories to tell. We want to guide you to your Hunt of a Lifetime! We have been guiding gator hunts for 19 years and each year is better than the last. We have hunters celebrate graduations, birthdays, honeymoons, corporate business celebrations, and more; it is always a blast! Did we mention the 13ft giant alligator that Adam and his son Tristan harvested? What a beast of an Alligator! Give Capt. Kevin a call; he is happy to answer your questions and ensure your adventure is one you never forget. *No matter the reason, it is Always Gator Season! We hunt 365 days a year and your success is always guaranteed! There are a number of ways to hunt Gators and we will customize your hunt to meet your expectations. Whether you want to stalk a Big Boy with a bow, stick one with a snatch hook, or run and gun with the harpoon, we’ll do what it takes to put a smile on your face that even your momma couldn’t wipe off! NO NEED TO BE A ZOMBIE! Everyone has heard the horror stories about their cousin who spent all night gator hunting with nothing to show for it other than a newfound addiction to Red Bull and Coffee. We refuse to do that to our clients unless they are looking for an β€˜All Night Experience’. We guarantee your success and most of our clients harvest their Gator(s) well within a 4-hour time frame. Capt. Kevin lives within 10 minutes of the hunting property, making it easy for him to keep an eye on the gators, knowing when and where these beasts are going to be when you get here. Guaranteed Success or No Pay! We hunt different times of day depending on the type of adventure you are looking for, the particular body of water we are hunting, the weather, etc. Ultimately we can hunt any time of day to accommodate your needs. We always adjust to conditions to make the most of your time on the water and get you on your gator! Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number and size gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater your hunt to the experience you are looking for. **We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you don’t have to.** Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. If you have a specific time you want to be on or off the water, we will gladly accommodate the timing of your trip to meet your needs. Capt. Kevin lives for this and will make sure you enjoy a hunt of a lifetime! Guaranteed Success! We provide the tag! Reserve yours before we sell out! Our hunts allow you to match your budget and expectations, with no hidden fees. Our hunts are private to you and your guest only!

High-Quality Duck Hunting in New Jersey
Our fresh water impoundments have the two ingredients essential for great puddle duck hunting- shallow water and a variety of natural foods. These impoundments provide ducks with high quality natural foods-wild rice, duck weed, smart weed and duck celery. These impoundments are 60-100 acres which means there is plenty of food throughout the gunning season. We also plant some wild rice each spring. These large impoundments are also big enough for birds to loaf on all day long without being disturbed. Also our impoundments are far apart which means we are hunting different bunches of birds to help keep our hunting consistently good. We like to use hand -carved cork decoys along with GHG decoys because of their realism and larger size. Most of the birds we are hunting travel in small bunches so 2-3 dozen decoys is plenty along with a few mojos when conditions dictate. We take a large variety of puddle ducks over the course of the season on these large impoundments. In the early season, (Oct -Nov) we mainly take smaller ducks- blue-wing teal, green-wing teal, wood ducks and mallards. In the late season, (Nov-Dec) we take a larger ducks and variety- a few straggler teal and wood ducks but mainly mallards and gadwall and some days pintail, widgeon and shovelers. We also take some Canada geese when conditions are right.

Trophy Coues Deer Hunt in Arizona, Rifle Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging
The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain. Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. You will mostly see them up in the mornings sunbathing and during the days bedded up in the shadows. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800+ yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long range practice before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting stick in different positionsβ€”you never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready. 6-day hunt

300 Acre Hunting Preserve Hog Hunt, 150-200 lbs
A guided spot and stalk hog hunt consists of 1 hunter on 1 guide or 2 hunters on 1 guide in the spot and stalk scenarios. The hunting preserve area is approximately 300 acres so be prepared for a little walking. There are stands and ambush points the guides can direct you to if a hunter isn’t physically able to walk. This is a challenging hog hunt that is great for introducing young or inexperienced hunters to the outdoors. The hog hunting guides will help teach guests how to maneuver through the woods undetected on well-worn game trails and the hog hunters will learn how to use the wind and patience on approach. We provide shooting sticks for rifle hunters. We allow hunters to choose their weapon of choice. While on a typical spot and stalk hog hunt your guide will predetermine a time for continental breakfast at the main lodge and then depart shortly afterward for the hunting grounds. We have had multiple hogs taken over the years on the way to the hunting location so the hunter could experience an added bonus. Once arriving to their hog hunting spots, the guide will then lead the way and help you stalk into your competent shooting range. This hog hunt is also great for large parties of hunters. The guides will safely divide the hunting area into zones and communicate together to help track moving boar and hopefully ensure success for their clients. After the hunt, the guides will load the hog or hogs and take them back to our processing facility so the meat can be prepared for transport or placed into our walk-in coolers until time for departure.

Arizona Monster Muley Rifle Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging
Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally, these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas. Rifle seasons take place in October, November, and December. In late November through December, these bucks will be busy in pre-rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more memorable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. Combo Deer + Raccoon Hunt in Beautiful Ozarks at a Great Price
Wild, free-ranging whitetail deer are plentiful on our property. We feed corn and plant attractants such as winter wheat in select areas to help draw in and sustain the population. They graze alongside our cattle, as well as in separate food plot areas reserved for wildlife. We provide a mixture of tree stands and ground-level blinds, ideally situated to overlook high traffic areas. There’s no more authentic Ozark Mountain experience than an old-fashioned coon hunt. Our guides were raised right here in East Richwoods, hunting deer by day and coons by night, and know all there is to know about this sport. Trained coon dogs are provided, or you may bring your own. Vehicles are provided to get you in and out of the woods, but be prepared to walk when your dog trees a coon up the side of a hill or across the holler! No high fences. No tame animals. No extra charge for trophy kills. Just authentic, fair-chase hunting of wild game in its natural Ozark Mountain habitat. Farm land with a mixture of woods and small clearings, pastures, creeks, and ponds. Land is reserved for one group at a time. Lodging is provided in the farmhouse, a 2,300-square-foot family home. Non-hunting guests are included in lodging for free, with a minimum of three hunting. House includes five full or queen beds, four twins, and two youth-size beds. Camp cots and extra pillows and bedding are also available. You are also welcome to camp on the property. There is a nice spot for primitive camping on the creek about 1/4 mile from the house. Discuss your needs with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your group!

Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Archery Pre-Rut/Rut
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 Β½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best. We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is β€œif we wouldn’t hunt it, we won’t hang it!” We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. It’s like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hang–on’s with climbing sticks (20β€²-25β€²); ladder stands (16β€²-20β€²); shooting houses (7β€²-10β€²); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, it’s just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself. All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the β€œGolden Triangle” of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties. All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better. Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods. Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired. Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Exotic Ram / Hog Combo Hunt - 2 Day, 1 Hog, 1 Ram
Many of our hunters choose the Ram/Hog Combo hunt. This hunt has its own challenges as the rams become very wary of hunting pressure. We try to keep a variety of rams on the ranch, such as Corsican, Texas Dall, Black Hawaiian, Angora, and Jacob Four Horn, just to name a few. Ram meat makes excellent sausage! Our Ram/Hog Combo hunts can be very exciting for novice hunters as well as experienced hunters alike. Many of our novice or younger hunters choose to harvest their rams while sitting in one of our many ground blinds. This option offers the hunter a longer opportunity for better shot placement. However, spotting and stalking the rams during the midday hours is the method of choice for those wanting a more exciting and challenging hunt. While it is possible to get within close range of these animals, you should also be prepared for longer-range shots.

1x1 Aoudad Hunt in Chinati Mountains - 4 Day, All Inclusive

Trophy Coues Deer Hunt in Arizona, Archery Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging, OTC Tags
6-day hunt

Hog Hunt With Dogs & Knives - 2x1
This hog hunt is designed for the ultimate thrill seekers and hard-core hunters! Chasing invasive wild hogs in Texas with hounds is about as fun as it gets! Our team of bay dogs will be turned out on the scent trail of the hogs, and will run until they find them. We suit up pit bulls with kevlar vests and make our approach. The bay dogs corral the hog until we can send in a catch dog from less than 50 yards away. We follow immediately behind the catch dog and send a client or guide in to grab the back legs of the hog while another client dispatches the wild pig with a knife. These hunts can range over hundreds of yards. Hunters should expect to walk up to 3 miles. Getting to the dogs is urgent for their safety and our success. We are fully confident in the safety of this epic hog hunt. We have assembled a group of excellent guides and dogs, and we can accommodate large groups of hunters in multiple teams. This is a great day time hog hunting opportunity and is sure to make your heart pump!

Boat-Based Alaska Brown Bear Hunt, Fall
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof island’s have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world. The brown bear represents the spirit of Alaska, especially in Sitka. Strength & Untamed. This is the ultimate challenge for hunters looking for a True Fair chase hunt in Southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest. Our Brown bear hunt is exclusive for two (2) hunters per 10 day trip. One on one – one guide per hunter, ensuring optimum success for each hunter. Individual hunter success for the last five years has been 85%-100%! Brown, Grizzlies and Kodiaks were once thought to be separate sub-species; however, it is generally agreed now that they are the same species. The Brown bear, so named because he lives within 50 miles of the sea and usually supplements his diet with salmon, is much larger than the inland grizzly. The Brown Bear is the largest land carnivore on earth, although there is some dispute over his cousin the Polar Bear, which spends the bulk of his life on ice flows. Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world. In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is Southeast Alaska. Or if you’re lucky, go pull up a pot of Dungeness crab for lunch/dinner! Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time, bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding. During the Fall, the focus shifts to these stream-bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon. It is common to see as many as 25 bears on a fall hunt. Hunters and guides will still use skiffs to go from the boat to shore, but then they follow the stream upward to find an appropriate location to observe bears as they come and go. The fall gives a better opportunity for archery hunters due to the close proximity of the bear. How Close? Close enough to see the bear’s breath! Fall hunts are our favorite due to the amount of animal activity! Fall hunts tend to be colder and wetter than the Spring hunt, so the right gear, especially rain gear, is even more important.

Super Affordable Dove Hunt; Private Ranch; Fried Chicken Lunch
Alabama Dove hunting guides and outfitters can offer a good deal of fun with this game bird. Alabama has many different land features from meadows and fields to wooded forest and rugged terrains of low mountains, all lending to fantastic dove shooting. When it comes to dove hunting in Alabama has over fifty-one thousand square miles of land to choose from, however, few places compare to our lodge (though, we might be a bit biased). The dove is part of the pigeon family and is almost worldwide in distribution. While most abundant in warm, tropical countries, they are prevalent enough in Alabama to provide a most memorable shooting experience. Dove hunting in Alabama is similar to most areas, where the game birds dwell in trees or on the ground and feed on seeds, fruit and insects. The distinctive rapid flight speed makes shooting a challenge, and for this reason many sportsmen make a point to go out in search for the dove’s cooing each fall. Hunters interested in dove shooting Alabama can recognize this game bird by its distinctive physical features: small head, short neck, stout body with short legs, sleek greyish plumage and the trademark fleshy protuberance at the base of the bill. Dove shooting is often done when the birds fly to or from their roost, or nesting area; a dove will build a loose, nearly flat nest of twigs, bark, straw, and weeds. Dove hunting in Alabama revolves almost completely around the mourning dove, as you will not find other species in this region. In Alabama, Dove hunting is a popular sport and many hunters plan their trips or guided hunts well in advance, as with any area with legendary dove shooting.

European-Style Tower Shoot, Lunch Provided
While the majority of our hunts are behind pointing or flushing dogs, tower shoots, or continental shoots, are also very popular at Markover. Twelve stations, or buts, are positioned at various distances surrounding the central tower. Each station, containing 2 shooters, is arranged to keep the visibility of the tower at a bare minimum, if at all. Birds are released from the central tower, 6-7 at a time, and fly full speed over the tree tops creating an extremely challenging shot for even the most seasoned shooter. The shooters rotate stations after an equal number of birds have been released so that everyone has an opportunity to shoot at that day's hot stations. Halfway through the day we break for a hearty lunch at the lodge. Following lunch we head back to the fields for the remaining afternoon portion of the shoot. Springers, Labs and Goldens along with their handlers retrieve the downed birds as the shoot progresses. All birds are evenly divided between the shooters at the end of the day and can be traded for cleaned birds for a small fee. No ammo restrictions No hunting license required (in-state and out-of-state) Two shooters per station Safety glasses and hearing protection is advised Please wear outdoor clothing including all terrain boots and either a hunter orange hat or vest Minimum age is 13 years old A lunchtime meal is served prior to second half of shoot All birds are evenly divided between shooters at day's end Birds traded/cleaned for a small fee Bring a cooler to take birds home.

Dry Creek Ranch Cow Elk, Guaranteed Landowner Tags
In the eastern part of the San Luis Valley, located in GMU 82, The Great Sand Dunes National Preserve offers 32,000 acres of over-crowed elk also known as the β€œsand dunes herd”. On this hunt, you will be packing in horseback and staying in a tent with wood stove. Hunting packages are available for archery and rifle. Hunts are fully guided for 5 days, but plan on arriving a day or two early to get into the base camp and staying a day later if wanting to hunt the full 5 days. Our guided pack-in sand dune hunts will take place in prime country for trophy bull elk. Elevation ranges between 8,500-12,000 feet in the sand dunes. These areas typically contain aspen groves and deep drainages. Our pack-in camps reside in several different locations . The base camps are off the grid and anywhere from a two to eight hour horseback ride. Once you arrive to the spike camp, hunting will be done mainly on foot everyday. A day on this hunt begins with your guides cooking breakfast, starting fires, and prepping gear for the day. After which, you will begin to head to the hunting location at where you will spend most of the day. After hunting hours are over, you will return back to base camp where dinner will be prepared depending on the pack in it could be quick prepared food.

100% Shot Opportunity Arizona Predator Hunt - Day Hunt 1x1
Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas, holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. Guiding the veteran predator hunter or instructing the beginner hunter is our passion. It is also a proven wildlife management tool for controlling the predator population in our prime hunting areas. We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk-in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Our exclusive guided predator hunts are offered on a daily rate basis or in multiple days. On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona. Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shotguns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shotgun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done. DATES: This is a year-round hunt for coyotes, but grey fox and bobcat are from roughly Sep 1 - Mar 31. SUCCESS: Our Arizona Guided Predator Day/Night trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shot opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these critters is by utilizing a electronic caller and using custom made hand calls with an emphasis on using an electronic caller. BAG: Unlimited bag limit.
